My Mum died 11 days ago from CHD, My Dad had a triple heart bypass, 6 and half years ago. And sadly died 8 weeks later, CHD was one of the cause. What are the chances of me developing this?

Hi there, I'm new to the group and stumbled upon it by of course using Dr. Google. I'm grateful I found this forum as it has put my mind at ease. I have suffered from health related anxiety and ocd but went off of meds about a yr ago as things seemed to be doing OK. About 10 days ago I wound up in the

Numbness around chest area
I had a heart bypass back in October and since my scar has healed I tend to find either side of it goes numb to the touch around the chest area, is this normal? Also, I have had absolutely no after care service from either hospital or my GP since my check up 6 weeks after the op, I was told there would

Sexual PTSD
So I've gotten two bacterial infections in the past. I've never been that promiscuous. I just got unlucky. They were ladies I thought I could trust. I've deprived myself of sexual contact because I'm terrified of putting my penis in someone again even with a condom. I haven't been sure how to get past

Your body is incredible. How connected to that are you?
Using kidneys as an example here, health innovation must embrace i) nutrition - key in managing oxidative stress, inflammatory processes. electrolyte depletion, ii) breath techniques for self regulation, esp useful in hyper-tension/migraines/restless legs/pain) iii) movement - brain/heart/

Best treatment for sudden ectopics?
Hello, fellow AF/ectopics sojourners! I'm in Kentucky, new to HealthUnlocked. Had occasional vagally-mediated AF episodes for 10 yrs, but since covid started 2 yrs ago, I think stress/anxiety upped my episodes to weekly, and recently, every 3 days. I just started daily 12.5 mg metoprolol (2 days

Viagra to Prevent Alzheimerâs ??
Interesting study that isnât exactly on topic but should be of interest to all of you. It appears viagra may have great protection against Alzheimer's. It's only a correlation vs a proof of causation but there seems to be some scientific logic to it. Either way could be fun making the effort. Doesn't

Mucous removal breathing devices and enlarged heart.
Been asked to show a neighbour how to use a flutter device to clear phlegm willing to do this. Also have a spare that she can have. However, said neighbour has just been diagnosed with an enlarged heart so wonder if this would be OK for her to use?
