3 eggs on high dose, none fertilised
I'm 38 with a low egg reserve. I had my 1st cycle on the NHS and I was on protocol 9, which is their highest protocol. I was on 75 luveris and 375 gonal-f for a total of 18 days before I took my trigger and I had my retrieval on Monday there. They got 3 eggs, and the next morning I found out that 2 had

Been on the IC since April 24h….bit fed up now!
Hi, I completed C25K a few years ago, and run regularly. I started having pain in both feet earlier this year, which felt like Plantar Fasciitis, which I had had very successful surgery for over 20 years ago! ( I must have been REALLY lucky with the results, as it’s hardly done now, as it’s not thought

Does anyone else suffer from thrush in the mouth, due to taking antibiotics. I think l may have it as my tongue is coated in white and l have lost a lot of my sense of taste. I have just started taking colomycin in Nebuliser for pseudomonas infection.

Shingles Vaccine Update
Well I never!! I woke to a text message from our GP's surgery to say that I am eligible for a shingles vaccination with a link to book in with a nurse. My GP's obviously looked up the guidelines & though better of her decision! I'm just hoping that after the fight to get it I don't have any adverse

COVID!
After a couple of days feeling under the weather, I (finally) tested positive for COVID this morning. I have a headache, and stuffy nose, nothing else. My wife, from whom I probably caught it has symptoms so mild that she didn't even think to test until I came up positive. They sent her home from work

The dreaded covid
Hi Having recently come home from a holiday, both my husband and I have tested positive for covid. He’s never had it so he’s been quite poorly, I’m the one on watch and wait with CLL, I’m feeling not as rough but I’ve had it a year ago, and have had all the vaccinations offered me and so has hubby.

ICSI risks?!
Last week my partner and I completed our first egg collection. Everything went well on my side; I was elated with my 20 eggs 💪 but the embryologist decided on the day to do ICSI instead of IVF due to my partners sperm. 7 fertilised the next day and they're now in the freezer until we're ready to transfer

Dog bite not on my Xmas list
So… today, while walking my Old English Sheepdog, three dogs escaped from their leashes and one of them bit my leg. They also tried to bite my dog but because most of her is fur they didn’t reach flesh. I, however, went home and did a cursory clean with hydrogen peroxide and went to urgent care. They

advice on sulfasalazine and the sun
I have been told by my rheumatologist nurse that I need to start taking sulfasalazine for my reactive arthritis, as I had a steroid injection after taking steroids orally, but it’s still not keeping the joint stiffness at bay completely . I’m not happy as I was under the impression that reactive arthritis

Sick note
Hello, wondered if anyone could give me some advice. My husband has been off sick from work with Covid for 9 days and he has been quite poorly but back to work now. He only works 3 days a week but needs a sick note to cover him for 2 days. When contacting the GP they told him they don't give sick

10 eggs at EC, only 3 fertilised!
Hi all, I know it only takes one, but I also know at 42 that time isn’t on my side. (I’m 42 OE, OH is 51, I know, geriatric mother!) First ever IVF round and first ever EC yesterday (Saturday 13th). I had 6/7 juicy follicles on Wednesday and another 6 just behind and retrieved 10 eggs on the day (

Urologist / Andrologist
Hello lovely people, Could you please recommend (PM me, please) an urologist or andrologist in Milton Keynes area or London who can help us to investigate 100% antibodies in semen? My partner already had advanced semen tests like DNA fragmentation etc, however the only two worrying factors are 100%
