Finasteride: "Miracle drug" regrows hair, heals prostate, and also boosts heart health ByEric Ralls Earth.com
I am now thinking to add Finasteride to Bicalutamide plus degarelix injections. Would/could it help me if on the psma pet scan my only visible cancer is in my prostate? I had radiation therapy to my prostate but my prostate cancer is back and looks like that the radiation therapy failed and the most

clear cell update
I just finished my second round of immunotherapy, which is Opdiva and Yervoy . After one month my CA, 125 dropped from 133 to 53. I’m truly astounded and hope it keeps working on my clear cell tumor. If you’re OVCA is clear cell, you should inquire to your oncologist about this.

Hi all. Hope you are keeping your spirits high. This is a follow up to a post I made in 2022 about my father. I haven't posted since, which reflects the period of relative normalcy that followed the commencement of ADT (triplet therapy) at MSK. I want to pause to appreciate that since I know most of

What category of Intermediate Risk Am I?
I am trying to make a decision regarding HT with RT. I am 78. I have CKD 3b, and a solitary kidney. I am 6.5 years in remission from UTUC kidney cancer. A number of papers indicate that HT could be detrimental to my kidney. Those with FIR PCa could avoid HT with little risk. The following is defined

My Bladder Cancer Update.
My latest flexy cystoscopy showed I had no tumour in my bladder, backing up what was said in Autumn 2023 and that was a complete turn-around. Seems my BCG has worked in as far as there si no tumour growth. I still have cancer cells because I have cancer in situ (CIS) but at moment is low grade. So

Failed RP & SRT; Negative PSMA PET
Greetings. I had a radical prostatectomy that failed and then salvage radiation therapy that appears to have failed as well. A recent PSMA PET scan showed no signs of recurrent prostate cancer or metastases. By way of background: NOV 2010 - Dx at age 52; positive DRE, Gleason 3+3, PSA 5.0; prostate

Repeat Lutetium/ Pluvicto treatment
Hello all, I am just curious if anyone has experience doing additional lutetium treatments. I did three lutetium treatments from September 2021 to January 2022. My Denver oncologist is concerned about bone marrow toxicity , but he does not have enough experience with this treatment to say for sure.

My uncle, a very fit 88-year old, was diagnosed with prostate cancer 3 1/2 years ago and while the hormonal treatment kept it in check for a couple of years, his PSA has now risen to 1600 and the scans show has spread to his bones. He has been tinkering with different hormonal regimes, abiraterone

suspected epidural tumour
Hi all! Hope you are all doing well. My dad just got his scans back, and to go along with his rising PSA (over 260 now), the said they suspect he has an epidural tumour. Our MO typically glazes past his scan results as she doesn’t seem them significant, I want to make sure I am right to be worried here
