SOME LADY!

I hope this brings a smile. Saw my friend yesterday whose 79 year old mother has been diagnosed with bladder cancer. Come operation day, mum got fully made up ("I've been doing this all my life!") and had her nails done. Anaesthetist asked - "Is that shellac or gel?" "No," she said, "It's Chanel!". Would you like a wheelchair into theatre? "No, thank you. I'll walk in." True story. There goes a lady!

Morning! Just having my coffee and your message made me smile. I had a similar incident. I was putting on my lipstick in the bathroom at the Christie when an older and quite frail lady came in. She had her make up on and she said to me “ just keep putting the lipstick on lovely “. It was an emotional moment as I was heading up to Chemo. Ladies keep putting the lipstick 💄on! xx
