Bone marrow result - cryptic
I had my regular blood check up with the consultant today so I hadn't bothered to chase the
biopsy
result. My consultant wasn't there today so I had a locum.

Doctor cannot fully diagnose without bone marrow biopsy and PET scan?
He is giving me the option for a full body PET scan and bone marrmarrow
biopsy
to get a definite CLL diagnosis. I am most likely going to move forward with those 2 tests. Can anyone tell me their opinion? I appreciate your time!!

Surgery must haves?
During surgery - they will do a
biopsy
of mass and if it comes back suspicious (borderline or cancerous) surgery will transition to debulking.

My baby was diagnosed with mastocytoma
However, having now read extensively about this condition, I am concerned that he has not done any actual tests (like a
biopsy
), that he cannot know whether it is in fact benign just by looking at it and that he has not advised on any allergy risks or indeed any risks.

Blood In Stool Relief
They took a
biopsy
to figure out what’s triggering it so they can decide how to treat it. It sucks but I was very relieved to find out what was wrong with me. I knew it wasn’t nothing, but I also knew not to wait. So if you’re reading this stop googling.

I had a TT in 2016 due to severe Hyperthyroidism and an inconclusive
biopsy
etc. I have endured the ups and downs of getting medication levels right over the years (thanks mostly to gleaming advice from this group) and felt that eventually i seemed to be doing ok on 150mg of Levothyroxine.

Antibiotic-Levaquin
Having my transperineal
biopsy
this Wednesday. I just noticed one of the antibiotics that will be in my IV drip will be Levaquin and the other Rocephin. Levaquin is one I do not want to have. I called the Dr.'s office and requested an alternative to Levaquin. Thoughts are welcomed. Thank you.

Diagnosing cancer from biopsies in minutes, not weeks
Accordingly, Imagene trains its AI to recognize a mutation in a digitized
biopsy
image by showing it many pictures of biopsied tissue at different angles.

Why ………..
Over the next 3 weeks my husband had a CT scan, an Echogram, a lung function test, a
biopsy
and an MRI scan. Not once did anybody mention what any of the results was or what they thought or knew it was. The waiting and not knowing over those 3 weeks was the worst.

Continued Weight Liss
I'm a new GCA patient confirmed by
biopsy
, having been on 60 mg for 2 weeks and a 2nd week on 50 mg... in other words I'm 3 weeks into this. Bouts of exhaustion followed by energy spurts, and having a hard time sleeping. But here's my paranoid concern: My weight is not rebounding yet.

If I Could Turn Back Time (Think Cher's dynamic voice...)
But also send the
Biopsy
specimens for genomic testing; Decipher is what I would suggest and it’s the best…use the combination of the GS + Genomic rating to choose your treatment.

weighing treatment options
Several nodes with SUVmax >5 and a few >10 prompted
biopsy
. No Richter’s! But because of additional risk factors it’s time to start treatment.

Good News Train
I was scheduled for abdominal lymph node
biopsy
on Sept 7th, but as luck would have, it saw my CLL Specialist on August 24th. After rounds of consults, it was suggested that I get a PET scan first before moving on to
biopsy
. Did PET scan on August 31st.

ERA results....not quite as simple as I thought
Had my first EndriomeTRIO
biopsy
in May and ERA came back post receptive so the 114hr of progesterone was too much and missed my implantation window. Was told to redo but 12 hours earlier so had the
biopsy
this round after 102 hours and came back Friday as pre receptive.

Incorrect diagnosis???
She told me that my temporal
biopsy
(done in June 2021) was negative, that the bloods taken at the time were good and that I’m very young to be suffering from GCA (I’m 54). I’m sure I was told previously that the
biopsy
was inconclusive. In short, she thinks I was wrongly diagnosed.
