yep, another question.
I have another question for those who have had the
biopsy
to detect GCA. We’re you on pred when you had your
biopsy
, and if so, what was your results? My Rheumy has said it’s unlikely the
biopsy
will indicate GCA due to the pred. Would it be best to go to optometrist? Thanks again!!

Great news. Bone biopsy negative. Back to just dealing with GCA which seems a blessing now!
Just wanted to let everyone know that my bone
biopsy
and bone scan were negative and the lesions visualized on my spine are not malignant. Thank the Lord! Now I can go back to just dealing with the GCA and MS. Seems like a blessing to me!

Levothyroxine treatment and gastric juice pH in humans: the proof of concept
Although this paper has a publication date of almost a year ago, I have only just noticed it. The results of the study do not seem surprising but, as always, it is essential that the work is performed - otherwise we are just making assumptions. [i]

Ups and downs of screening for a Phase 1 trial
If everything including bloods are okay, there will be a
biopsy
. It is a long and slow process and the clearing of hurdles is a thing that is difficult. In our case there is a long drive to the hospital and a stay away overnight which makes it more tiring.

The potential of using circulating tumour cells and their gene expression to predict docetaxel response in metastatic PCa: 14 Dec 2022.
Liquid
biopsy
of circulating tumour cell (CTCs) is minimally invasive, can provide real-time tumour information of the heterogeneous tumour and therefore may be a potentially ideal docetaxel response prediction biomarker.

Because consultant said he was worried I was past f2 is the reason behind him wanting the
biopsy
as my symptoms are so high.

An alarming visit: Rheumy suggested infusing with 500 mg per day for 4 days after I've already been tapering for 4 months
Hi all, I'm a GCA patient, diagnosed in AUG via a positive Temporal Artery
Biopsy
. I started on 60 mg for 2 weeks, then 50 for 2 weeks, etc. down to 20 mg at which I've been holding for about 5 weeks.

NKF launches educational video series for lupus, lupus nephritis
A kidney
biopsy
, which entails collecting a small piece of kidney tissue to examine, is commonly used to diagnose the cause of kidney damage. Severe lupus flares and impaired kidney function may be life-threatening if not treated adequately.

I had a bone marrow
biopsy
recently which has confirmed the disease is progressing. I now need to be treated to try to halt progression to acute leukaemia and if successful followed by a bone marrow transplant. this has come as rather a shock Is anyone else going through this?

No apixaban for 2 days before prostate biopsy
Is 2 days no apixaban usual prior to prostate
biopsy
, think it's out the system by then. Not really worried as as far as I know I haven't had afib episode since diagnosis over 2 yeers ago, if I had one the beta blocker would certainly let me know due to heightened awareness of heartbeat

POMI-T Methods The researchers recruited 203 men aged 53 to 89 years with prostate cancer proven by

Dr. sent me for a CT scan and then after the scan results showed a spot in my lungs, referred me to a local cancer center for PET and
biopsy
. By the time I got my diagnosis, I was pretty sure that I had some kind of Lymphoma.

I know I'll have more questions when
biopsy
results are posted. Since his diagnosis in December 2017, Paul hasn't read a single thing about PCa. I don't understand that. He relies on me to research and ask the MO questions.
