I saw this article and I thought I would let you know about it as it's to do with grieving someone you had an online relationship with. The author of the article knew the person 'offline' too, but I thought it might resonate with some of you. Sadly there have been a few forum members recently who have died and it is distressing.
It may or may not echo some of the feelings you have. In the digital age we live in, it is a new experience, painful and very real, to grieve someone you knew through their online presence.
If there is anything you would like Ovacome to be doing to help in any way regarding this, please do let me know.

Thank you, Anna. A thought provoking article. It also made me think (yet again) that I must find time to go through my photos and print some off for family members in years to come. I was so pleased when I found an old photo of my beloved Mum-in-Law a while back and thought then - in future generations there won't be photos around anymore because computers, laptops, tablets, phones etc only last so long and who knows whether someone else would know how to retrieve them from ' the cloud etc'. Or, as happened with one of my Granddaughters recently, all her photos were accidentally deleted.
That's a really good idea. Either printing off or backing up your photos etc in some way will help ensure they are safely kept hold of and your loved ones can find them too.
In a way you could liken her texts to the photos of old. You look at them and there you are ; a four year old playing in the back garden, there's your Granny in her best hat and coat at a family wedding. All these records capture moments in time we can reconnect with and so in a way our loved ones live on.
