Using Red Clover, Sage and Ashwagandha for the menopause, and it's safety with hypothyroidism?
Hiya. I am currently in the menopause with early onset osteoporosis, and have autoimmune related hypothyroidism. I am looking into various ways to manage this, conventional HRT being the least desirable. I much prefer natural ways to manage my health wherever possible, and I've found various herbal supplements

Red Yeast Rice Extract (RYRE)
I wrote this in reply to another post whose title does not make the question obvious and thought others might find it useful. Statins
Hi, new member here, 60yo. Cholesterol 5.1 overall, CT scan showed potential CAD - echo and possible angioplast to be done in due course. I've been told in no uncertain terms I have to take statins. I'm not overly enamoured about that as there seems to be so many varying studies; some say they'll give

Meningitis for 3 months
They told me I had the flu and just needed
bed
rest
but ti go to A&E if anything got worse. I didn't because I could hardly stand, but I really wish I did. I spent 9 weeks bedridden, lost hearing temporarily in one ear and couldn't even wake up to make food.

Synacthen Test looming in a moment...quick query
Foolishly thought a bit of
bed
rest
would do the trick so, after quite a while I eventually settled and was cared for by my wonderful girls. However reality set in and I went to gp, who promptly sent me to hospital. That was Wednesday, I'm still here and about to have the synacthen test.

Tachycardia
I had a similar episode overnight, ecg taken and when reviewed put on
bed
rest
and nitronol infusion and transferred to another hospital for a CABG x2 a few days later, leaving me with RBBB. My heart rate has always been around 40bpm.Bisoprolol now reduced to 1.25mg and heart rate now 50 - 60bpm.

feeling hopeless and stupid
I also really just want to lay in
bed
and
rest
. I took an extra anxiety pill that I have prescribed. I was going to slow myself to lay in bed for no more than an hour and a half, and then work on cleaning or packing. I want to go on this cruise and enjoy it. But I’m terrified.

pushing through…barely
I’m excited for tonight when I can just get cozy in my
bed
and
rest
, but that seems so far away and hard to reach. I have therapy tonight which I think will be very helpful.

Something new…..
I currently take 1.25 as a pip when I have one of these events ( and normally I to go to
bed
and
rest
) …I may increase the pip dosage but a daily dosage of 5mg would be a massive change.

Advice needed please about liquid Levothyroxine side effects
My son is feeling awful and totally drained about 40 minutes after taking the Teva liquid Levothyroxine and needs to go to
bed
for the
rest
of the day. Has anyone experienced the same reaction with Teva liquid levothyroxine or have any idea why this is happening to him?
