My progress
Last weekend was 9 months since my AVR & CABG. I also had 2xPCI three weeks before that. This week I’ve been back to my local Cardiac Unit for a progress check. I’d had blood tests a month ago with my GP and they were fine. So the result is I’ve been told that they will book an echo for me in two years

Wife getting MMR vaccine booster - isolate or not?
I'm an SLL patient, 55 years old, now about 2.5 years into remission after 6 FCR treatments. I just recovered from a recent (and thankfully mild) bout of shingles. My shingles was so mild that my GP wasn't convinced it actually was shingles! She had me tested for herpes zoster antibodies, and for good

propranolol to diltiazem?
Hi there I hope it’s ok for me to post here, I don’t have AF but have been having lots of palpitations and PVCs for a few years. I’ve been on Propranolol 80mg slow release for a couple of years and that’s been ok. However recently my ectopics have intensified and dr switched me to 40mg propranolol 3

Is this a genuine VT on my Wellue, or not? Thanks
I’ve just started using a Wellue, and it’s brilliant to be able to take a continuous 1 lead ecg (other than downloading and charging time) and the information it gives, with AI analysis. I’ve got a question from those who can read ecgs - my AI analysis says I had some PVCs and then a Ventricular Tachycardia

AFIB... prescribed APIX & BISO
Hello, I purchased an apple watch a couple of weeks ago and got an Atrial Fib alert with an average HR of 105. SO at that point I decided to visit my DR which sent me to get an ECG test done which confirmed the results from the alert. My Dr prescribed me 5mg of APIX twice a day and 5mg of BISO once

Another trip to A&E
back in A&E last night.didn’t go by ambulance,my son took me. First they “forgot” to do my bloods so I waited 5 hours for my first results, I had morphine and I had some codeine with me. my ecg was fine and bloods came back ok. All the doctors and nurses were really nice and said a few times my Angina

Wellue ECG - review
Does anyone else have a Wellue ECG heart monitor (single lead Holter)? Any conclusions? I happened to find them advertised for £150 a couple of months back and took the plunge, as I have a lot of ectopics etc etc. My thoughts: Pros: - Allows you to trap events at your own convenience, a good alternative

My Kardia has arrived.
Good morning - if you are in a similar time zone!My Kardia arrived yesterday morning so of course I took many readings to try it out. I also tried it on my husband to see if it was working properly and it appears to be fine. My own readings however are all over the shop, so I wondered if other people
