Hiya Just had an 8 day stint in the Acu at colchester hospital. My heartbeat was going up to around 120 and blood pressure was 180/110 for no apparent reason. I was diagnosed with microvascular angina last year and take diltiazem 60 twice a day for that... it happened 3 times in hospital so they doubled my dose to 120 twice a day and it hasn't happened since...troponin levels went up to 110 but ecg indicates no heart damage.. they are saying that my heart wasn't getting enough oxygen was the reason and that my main blood vessels that supply the heart are slightly narrowed...Ive also had a chest infection over the last few weeks which may have caused my oxygen levels to dropped. Blood flow to the heart is fine as i had an angiogram... Im a bit confused to what has happened as doctors dont really explain anything properly... they said just get back to normal... but im extremely exhausted after 8 days in bed... Anyone else experienced anything like this..??
Thanks
Andy
