Hi I was formally diagnosed with Graves’ disease in May 23 . Hello - I'm about to return to the Mayo for the first review since my previous visit last November. As I've reported here, my last major treatment was chemo with cabazitaxel at the Oncology Center in Nicosia, Cyprus, where I live. This was successful: PSA fell from 83 at the start of chemo to about 3

A little update
Hi all, I just thought I'd give a little update as I've not posted here in about a year and just possibly my experience may be of interest. I am not in ANY way invalidating anyone else's condition or treatment, this is just my story. For years I have struggled with low mood, lacking 'oomph' in life.

Advice after recent blood test results please
I have been taking Levothyroxine for decades but only recently appreciated, after advice from this fabulous website, the correct way to undertake thyroid blood tests. how to come off thyroid meds?
At some point relatively soon, I might need to come off thyroid meds to see if I need them. How do I do that?! I've done some researching and reading around this and there seem to be 2 schools of thought. One is to wean off gradually and the other is to go relatively suddenly, because any amount of

2nd FET protocol for 4th embryo transfer
Hi all, I’m looking for some advice on FET protocols. I’ve had 2 fresh rounds of IVF treatment and one frozen. The first cycle of IVF resulted in two embryos. We transferred one embryo, which resulted in a BFN. For our frozen round we also got a BFN. For our next fresh round our consultant suggested

Suppressed tsh 0.03 on Liothyronine, is this as much of a worry as consultant says please?
Bit of a long story sorry but I just need a moan with others who undestand. I restarted Liothyronine Jan 23 on nhs but my consultant will not endorse any increase whatsoever. I am just so tired most days it hurts, can't shift my weight unless I starve and unfortunately I don't sleep well so that doesn't

Anyone else with Jak2 PV have difficulty walking and leg pain?
I'm new here and really happy I found this forum. I've been diagonsed with Jak2 positive PV a year ago, after feeling unwell for a couple of years, and after my blood tests have been abnormal for quite a while. For the past year, I've been on aspirin and Phlebotomies, which have kept my Hematocrit under

Why is my TSH so low when my T4 T3 are so low?
Hi all can some please explain why my TSH is low despite my T4 T3 being low. Correct me if i have got it wrong but i have come to understand that TSH is released by the pituitary gland to stimulate release of more thyroid hormones if levlels are too low. Since 1993 i dont have a thyroid so i am on
