Pregnant RLS Oral treatment vs IV
Hi fellow night-walkers, My Ferritin level is 10. My Iron count is going between 112 and 118 on the last few tests. I have terrible RLS - but I did get 2 hours sleep last night... My GP has said that it would be dangerous to administer an Injectafer while I am pregnant. My obstetrician has prescribed

This meme gave me a chuckle this morning and how true it is. I have 2 toilet paper destroyers. šš Decided today is a good day to have a good day, so Iāve decided to take charge and take advantage of it when I wake up feeling okay. Feeling okay is much better than I was yesterday. š Thanks to everyone

Help with blood results
So, the endo is happy with my T3 and T4. Mid to upper range. However I still suffer from bloating, hair loss and fairly rapid pulse (90 bpm) . I take 50mcg levo and 1 grain Thai NDT. I had my iron checked in June 19. GP told me that my levels were ānormalā. Iāve recently had the Mirena coil removed

Started taking Exjade for iron overload from transfusions
Did this for 3 reasons. I am one of a handful of around 20 people taking both drugs with rux maybe one of 10 taking it with with a trial drug as well. Why do I do it? Other patients took the gamble to try rux and imatinib and lost their gamble so I feel I owe my opportunity to them. Pure research. This

Feb my PSA started to rise (it was 0.028 most of last Summer) the RO said it's normal for PSA to rise during this treatment so didn't worry, they were happy with my blood counts and said things seem to going well, July my PSA got to 75 and started to become concerned, the pain in my legs started to increase

average time for hospice care at home
It has been a long time since I have been on this forum. Unfortunately, we have the news that my SO has run out of all treatment options except for experimental drugs. He will not be taking it as his body has been weakened from all the different cocktails he has already tried. His PSA is now 185,

Magnesium Chloride Flakes for RLS?
Hi all! I was trying to find out online if Epson's salt baths could work for RLS and I found something far better: Magnesium Chloride Flakes. Many people try Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salts) for pain relief but according to what I read, those who use Magnesium Chloride Flakes ultimately find longer lasting

Imbruvica-related issues: Qs + comments
The following are questions and comments I'll be asking my oncologist when I see him tomorrow. I believe at least some of them might be relevant to what some among us are experiencing and research some of us are engaging in. Clearly, none of the comments here are meant to be authoritative nor intended

Is it ok to not want to be ok ?
Hi, Iām new. 13 years ago, I was so far down the rabbit hole of PTSD and severe chronic anxiety that I could barely function. I lived in my basement because I was so afraid of people. The phone. So many things. My panic attacks were severe. As in shaking like I had palsy curling up on the floor and

Magnesium oil and daytime sleepiness
Hi, I've taken magnesium supplements (citrate or glycinate) for many years. For the last few nights, have either had a foot soak with magnesium flakes (magnesium chloride) or used a home made spray (very small amounts). During each day, I've felt sleepier. I read a post on here that mentioned magnesium

Midway through Radium 223 and look what I caught....
The treatments have left me pooped but somehow I muster up and go ocean fishing for salmon. This is from Friday. Ocean season closes today.....I got out 7 times. Kicks my butt, but it really motivates me.
