Amantadine syrup
Is anyone using amantadine syrup. If so how much are you using and how much are you suplied with. We have just changed from 2 x 100mg tablets a day to 10ml syrup once a day which equals 1x 100mg tablet. Also the one bottle we have been prescribed by gp is 150ml so that is only 15 days at half the amount

Recently my mum has started having some really strange episodes. While she is sitting down, she is unable to stand independently, she starts moving her legs in a walking motion, starts talking to people that are not there. Sometimes she thinks she is walking up a hill or riding a bike. She shouts and

Liquid instead of tabs??
My GP surgery is a dispensing one, they don't seem to be able to order items without the main GP's say so. I have asked this morning if we can have our prescriptions dispensed elsewhere, our GP is a 12 mile round trip and can be an absolute pain. My husband could do without the trip, I don't drive, and

Amantadine Shortage
Is anyone else experiencing difficulties obtaining Amantadine? I phoned round 14 pharmacies yesterday trying to find a branch with stock. I am told that the manufacturers had a dodgy batch and will not be producign more until mid August.

I take 250 mgs madopar 4 times a day and amantadine tablets twice a day. Also I take 4 adcal ( calcium tablets) a day for bone strength. I did take alendronic tablet once a week but stopped taking it 2 months ago as I thought that was causing my hair loss. As I'm still losing hair has anyone else had

Comtan / entacapone cost
Comtan (generic:entacapone) really works for me in extending my on-times for carbidopa-levadopa to the point where I am almost symptom free some days. However, I have been paying $300-$400 for it per month because my insurance, and I've been told, most insurance didn't cover it. Well, IT DOES NOW and
