Hi. I'm 4 months clear of my 1st Cathater Ablation with hardly and AF in the last 2/3 months. Now all of a sudden I'm getting Flutters almost every day lasting on and off all day! Could AF be creeping back or is it still early days? Has anyone else had the same experience? Thanks Gaz :)

I'm 51 and would class myself as pretty fit, I've done various sports all my life, field hockey, and various other sports in gym classes etc. About 5 years ago I started doing more serious cycling and longer

Three years from diagnosis
I am writing this update as I am aware that a majority of people whose ablations are "successful" tend to leave the forum. I thought I would add a bit of balance. It is now exactly three years since I realised that my breathlessness and general lack of fitness was not due to aging, but due to a medical

Best surgeon in the world for an ablation?
If you needed a catheter ablation for paroxysmal AF and cost or travel weren't a problem, what doctor would be the best choice?

Periprocedural stroke risk in patients undergoing catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation
Does anyone know/can find the risk of stroke immediately post ablation in those patients on anticoagulation and certain CHADS2 scores?

Has anyone experience of catheter ablation at St Georgeās?
Itās been 13 years since my first ablation and Iām feeling really anxious again! Iām worried Iām not as young as I was then. Iām 50 now. Iām also out of my comfort zone as Iāve always had cardio treatment at Brompton, crazy but different unfamiliar hospital is adding to anxiety! Anyone had good experience

Catheter ablation with emphysema
I am scheduled for ablation next month. I have read many post of successful procedures. My concern is that the burns that are mad in the heart get close to the pulmonary veins . Has anyone with emphysema had a good outcome even though they have lung conditions. Would love to hear feedback from anyone
