Ventricular Ectopic Beats - Possible short term relief
I am 63 and have suffered this terrible condition for 47 years, climaxing with 23,000 recorded ectopics in a single day. I am absolutely sure from my own experience that there is a relationship between my stomach and my cardiac rhythm. When I eat my heart rate rockets but my wife's does not. When my

Frustrated!
So 5 months after my
av
node
ablation
and pacemaker fitted I’d just managed to get fit enough to walk up and down gentle hills feeling really good. Best I had In 10 years. Then 3 weeks ago I slipped in the rain onto some tiles broke my pelvis and chipped my humerus.

Has anybody here had a pace and ablate?
Has anybody here had
AV
node
ablation
aka 'pace and ablate' (as opposed to 'cateheter' ablation)? If so and you don't mind telling, did it improve your symptoms of afib and to what extent? Has the pacemaker affected your life? Thank you.

Extended lymphadenectomy or standard or not ?
Hello group and as the year start i wish to all peace and love around you. After my targeted biopsy at G 4+5 and G 4+3 all on one side, with no peri-neural invasion, no seminal invasion and a 17 PSA at the same level for one year... i have been prescribed a PR + ePLND (extended lymphadenectomy) to

Pacemaker and Mammogram
I had a pacemaker fitted last year and
AV
node
ablation
in May. I have just had a reminder that I am due for a mammogram. I mentioned to my GP that I was concerned it or the wires may get damaged, as I’ve had the AV node ablated, I didn’t like the prospect of something going wrong.

Recovery after Catheter Ablation
I had an ablation treatment last Thursday 27th Dec, it went well, so I gather, but I understand that it was more complicated than anticipated. It took some time to complete the investigative part of the treatment and then five locations were identified and I then received 5 "burns". The whole treatment

A/Fib and Exercise.
I am a new here, but not new to A/Fib or A/Flutter. After 4 decades of distance running I ended up with a heart attack and quadruple bypass at 65. (12 years ago) Back to running within 6 weeks but 5 years later A/Fib struck, followed a year later by A/Flutter. 2013 and a RF Catheter Ablation restored

AF ablation risks and concerns
Hi all, I'm new to this forum and have found a lot of reassuring posts and comments on here - so thank you to everyone who's contributed! My situation: I'm a 43-year male, non-smoker, not overweight, CHADSVASC=0, generally good health... recently diagnosed with paroxysmal AF and a 'more regular tachycardia

Cardiac Ablation
I had the cardiac ablation surgery on Oct. 3. I'm very glad i did it. I feel much better and have only had one (5minute) afib moment since.

PNI After Catheter Ablation
Hi guys, This is more just a query, rather than looking for a definite answer: what sort of time frame after catheter ablation does phrenic nerve injury occur? I only ask as, having read a few paper online I know it's something that does happen. But none of them go into much detail about how

Shortness of breath
I had a Cardiac Ablation for AFib seven weeks ago. I am still experiencing shortness OB breath that has not improved. I have discussed this with my cardiologist and he says it will get better. I returned to work two weeks after the ablation and I am having a very hard time working because of the shortness

VT diagnosis and cardiac ablation. Would you do it?
I’ve recently been through the full gamut of testing (ECG, Holter, CT scan, stress test). Everything came back normal except for my holter which did show a small run of VT. I had a few ectopic beats during the stress test and I feel those several times a day, which I hate, but have been told repeatedly

Cardioversion
Following this, I am having a bi-ventricular pacemaker and if necessary
AV
node
ablation
through pacemaker. Apart from AF I have left ventricular failure ( heart failure)and left Atria impairment,. Also asthma, iron deficiency, and hypothyroidism.

Cardioversion
Then I will be offered an
AV
node
ablation
through the pacemaker which will kill my natural heart triggers and relay totally on the pacemaker. All scary stuff. Has anyone had experiences of these three procedures. 1 internal Cardioversion 2 Bi-ventricular Pacemaker 3 Ablation through pacemaker.

HF and pacemaker
I am now awaiting a biventricular pacemaker and subsequent
AV
node
ablation
which I am hoping will allow my EF to recover and resolve my HF. Has anyone else gone through a similar journey? If so, what was your experience?

My real question is this, I had a 3 lead PM as it is thought I will the
AV
node
ablation
as even an increase in medication is not going to work for me.

When is AV Node ablation the answer?
My EP initially suggested an
AV
node
ablation
but then, without telling me the reason decided not to, saying that it would not stop the AF. I am now left rather confused as to whether or not
AV
node
ablation
would help me.
