I’m in the exact situation as you are. You say all the things I have going through my head .
I had a lupus anticoagulant test same as you and they space it out as You said every 3 months . I have had a huge clot in my subclavian which was so big it had spread from subclavian to side of my breast and under my arm pit . I was in hospital for a week . They put me on heparin IV drip and Coumadin

Coping with what could have been
My husband has recently been very ill and had a liver transplant which is working wonderfully. I can't stop thinking about what could have happened if he had not had the transplant. He had sepsis in March and almost died and was going downhill fast just before his transplant. I'm driving myself crazy

Recent ‘Pace & Ablate’
Had the two procedures done a month apart. AV node ablation done on August 4th. Super good and fast recovery. Wonderful to have normal heart rhythm after a year of constant Afib, tiredness and shortness of breath. So thankful to the Afib Clinic staff of St. Paul’s Hospital.

I had heart surgery 2 months ago and now because my heart is not steady I'm going to be prescribed beta blockers. Does anyone know if they upset the RLS??

Systemic sclerosis and vein
Good day, everyone. I'm curious whether anyone with scleroderma or systemic sclerosis has trouble opening veins for IV drugs?, And if anyone has established a cvp line for IV medications?

4 month old with VSD
I found out just over a week ago that my baby girl, who is a twin born in March 2021, has a large VSD - and now requires heart surgery for it. I know that I should feel better that I keep reading that it’s a routine procedure etc etc but I cannot help but feel dread, worry, anxiousness to name but

Valve replacement
I was 29 when I had my first heart surgery. Never knew I had a problem prior to that. I was terrified. I subsequently had mitral & aortic valves replaced aged 36. I had mechanical valves put in which was 25 years ago. Still going strong and was a complete life changer. Wait till you are on the other

LIOTHYRONINE SODIUM (Generic) by Sigma Pharm (T3) contains Mannitol - What?
Hi all, I've started using T3 and I got the 5mcg pills from Sigma Pharm. I've just looked up what's in them and found that they contain mannitol. So I've googled mannitol and not found anything that goes to explaining why it should be in my T3 pills. I'm a bit freaked out at some of the uses listed

I still feel depressed a year after surgery. Can anyone suggest ways of overcoming this please?
I had open heart surgery last year which was a shock as I had not realised I was unwell. Now recovered I still have feelings of panic and inadequacy and feel much less confident. Has anyone else gone through this?

Newbie
Hi everyone I am new here and I am so glad to have found this forum. I am 65 and never had a heart problem in my life until March this year. I was at work and had a heart attack. While in hospital I had another heart attack. I was moved to another hospital where I had an angiogram and angioplasty

Can't seem to get anywhere
I may or may not be able to get any answers here. I might not even be in the right place. I'm a 53 year old male and back in 2015 my thyroid swelled up quite a bit. I was referred to my local hospital endocrinology. Where a large amount off brown liquid was drained. At the same time I developed alopecia

Not breathless but more wheezy.
As i've posted before my first bouts of Afib were after my Open Heart Surgery for a Thoracic Ascending Aortic Aneurysm in April 2019 whilst in hospital. I had no real heart issues though. I had Afib again 3 weeks later when I was readmitted with pneumonia and sepsis. I then had tachycardia in Nov/Dec

Irregular heartrate
I had Open Heart Surgery twice in April 2019 to repair a Thoracic Ascending Aortic Aneurysm. Was in a months in total. After surgery I was in a month with infections and various bouts of AFIB. I was initially on Amiodarone. 3 weeks later I had other bouts of Afib brought on by Pneumonia and Sepsis.

Sauna.
I had my heart surgery a year ago. Repairing a thoracic aneurysm and replacing a bicuspid valve. My son is leaving home today and I was considering what to do with his room. He suggested I install an infrared sauna and I love the idea. It would certainly help to ease the osteoarthritis pain I've started
