As i've posted before my first bouts of Afib were after my Open Heart Surgery for a Thoracic Ascending Aortic Aneurysm in April 2019 whilst in hospital. I had no real heart issues though. I had Afib again 3 weeks later when I was readmitted with pneumonia and sepsis. I then had tachycardia in Nov/Dec 2019 when readmitted again in 2019. Both those stays in hospital were for a week.
I've had absolutely no issues since then until about 4-5 weeks ago when my heart started going out of rhythm again. When it goes out of rhythm I've not actually felt breathless, not in the sense like you get when running etc. But it feels more wheezy when it goes out of rhythm with an urge to cough anti might sound odd but as if the air is temporarily being vacuumed out my lungs. Theres quite often double beats, a quivering feeling , and a feeling my heart is sinking. It never felt like this back in 2019.
I'm on a small dose of Bisoprolol and I have an appointment next week at the ANP Cardiology Rapid Assessment Clinic next week. I don't know how accurate my ECG watch is but it regularly shows Afib and Inconclusive as well as Sinus Rhythm.
My heart seems to jump in and out of theses rhythms.
I'm not really sure what to make of it all. I wouldn't say I'm overly worried but I'm due further surgery for a Cranial CSF Leak and hoping it doesn't mean that gets put back.
