Post Transplant Fatigue
Hello, I had my liver transplant just over 6 years ago now and apart from an issue right at the beginning, I have been well. I’ve not even had covid! Recently though I’ve begun to feel very tired again, almost as if I’d never had the transplant at all. My question is, has anyone else experienced chronic

Someone recently asked me about taking Urso after my transplant and the return of the disease for me. I can't find the post but I wanted to answer. I have taken Urso since I was 35 years old. I am now 73. I have had no real problems with it all these years luckily. About 25% of those who have a liver

I'm just over 9 months kidney transplant from a living donor. I've felt great but I do worry, since it is cold and flu season, about getting sick. Probably my biggest worry at this point. I try to wear masks when I am out and take all precautions. I just wondered though if I should get sick what are

Choosing your own in-center doctor?
Hello, everyone! My mom has been at her new dialysis center for about three months, and the doctor and NP assigned to her are pretty terrible. We noticed that a former patient had their own nephrologist who came to the center to go over lab results and handle any dialysis-related issues. That patient

Increased Creatinine -
I have a kidney transplant since 2009. I have had 4 ablations on my heart for afib since 2019. It has affected my creatinine adversely at times. I just changed from Flecanide to Propafenone for afib, & we are hoping this will lower my creatinine, which has slowly been increasing since starting the Flecanide

Mycophenolate instead of Perfinedine or Nintenanib?
Hi everyone I became breathless suddenly in August 2023. This was initially dismissed by my GP even though O2 was 90% as my chest was clear and I had no cough. A fortnight later I was able to get an appointment with a different GP who sent me for a chest X ray which showed I had pulmonary fibrosis.

caregiver for family member
My mil is a 65-year-old woman who has been on dialysis for over a year. She has had CKD for 20+ years, along with diabetes, HTN, and arthritis. I was looking for community online support because sometimes we feel information overloaded. She has been suffering from severe itching, and nothing seems to
