Heart Arrhythmia
Hello All. I've posted in the past and remember that some have said that I could increase my dose of T3 to perhaps alleviate the arrhythmia I have been experiencing for many years. I take 75 MCG LEVO (for 35+ years with varying dosages) and 5 MCG Lio each morning. Any comments at this time would be greatly

I have a profile in advanced prostate cancer. When I set it up I didn't realize there was more than one prostate cancer network/forum. People in the advanced prostate form suggested I join this one. It's been awhile, but here I am. I'm a 63 year old who had an RP in March 2021. So far my psa tests have

HC - making me feel worse
Hi everyone,. From May year i reluctantly self medicated with hydrocortisone 20mg after saliva test showed really low in all 4 points. I initially felt well , drowsiness and feeling groggily in the mornings disappeared along with headaches and yawning all day long. I still needed naps here and there

T3 in Pregnancy and breast feeding
I am trying to assist a friend late 30’s who is now about 17 weeks pregnant. She has been on a combination of Levothyroxine and Liothyronine for many years and has been well. Her drs have stopped the Liothyronine and upped her Levothyroxine, informing her Liothyronine is not licenced in pregnancy

Looking for a substitute for NP Thyroid/Armor Thyroid in Europe
Hello all, I am currently in Europe running out of options to refill my NP Thyroid medication. From what I have found online, Armor Thyroid is an equivalent, and after asking my US Doctor, he said it should be ok to take. I have tried via Roseway labs but, not being a UK citizen, the doctor isn't sure

Test enquiry
Good Morning, I’m due to see a new Endo on 27th. Seeing GP tomorrow, going to request tests so I have them ready for Endo. I’d like to know what you would recommend as being a full panel of tests please. I’m on T3 & T4. Thank you :)

iron and b12 test results
How am I doing with iron and b12? i posted before about my thyroid results and have reduced my Levo a tiny amount pending testing again in a few weeks time I now have the rest of my results (minus ferritin and folate ) from MMH. I can see that my iron and b12 are not dire but neither are they optimal

Swallowing difficulty, have to chew meds.
About a year ago, I began getting my thyroid meds stuck in my throat. All my other meds, vits and minerals, being much larger, seem to go down ok, as they seem to have sufficient "weight" behind them. My magnesium capsule is the size of a suppository 🤣 and I can swallow that without a problem

Urine/Cortisol Tests
I have now had my appointment at the endocrine clinic. The doctor was not really interested in my symptoms as I have ‘bloods normal’. He did not look at the comprehensive Medichecks blood profile only those relating to thyroid although the ranges are all good across the tests. After insisting

Thyroxin and throat/ neck pain
Hi, I’ve been on thyroxin for four weeks now. I’m getting a weird ache in my neck/ throat, like it’s harder to swallow. It’s not painful as such, it just feels weird. Is this normal? Is my thyroid just adjusting to the meds? Thank you

Guess What!!!!!
The GP has reduced my T3 by 10mcg and replace with 25mcg T4 (levothyroxine) !!!!! (I'm stunned). As the majority on this forum are aware I've had no problems with T3 but I think this GP must believe that a combination of T4/T3 is superior.

should T3 make you feel worse?
good morning all, further to my post last week, I commenced T3 2.5. at the start of this week following 5 days reducing my levo from 100 to 87.5( as my T4 was at the very top of the range). I am taking the T3 together with my levo first thing in the morning. My question is how should I feel? I felt ok

Body feels on edge
I can only describe this as an inner unease, it’s physical and it is accompanied by a hissing in my ear, sometimes this eases and I can feel my body is more at rest but it can rave up before a headache. I feel it is my body looking for something/lacking - could this be my low thyroid hormones/T3?

NDT to T3 & T4 - brands, and how to transition?
I'm wondering how to make the transition from NDT to T3 & T4, specifically how slowly is it best to go and which brands of T3 & T4 are most widely accepted/least likely to cause reactions? I'm assuming I would translate my current dose of 1.75 grain NDT into the equivalent T3 & T4 and start on that?

Prostate Cancer (stage IV) identified in January and Small Cell Carcinoma (Neuro endocrine) in liver in August. Any suggestions?
In January, my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer (Acinar Adenocarcinoma Prostate) stage 4, with PSA of 687. PCa had reached bones but not other major organs. He was put on Abiraterone and Degarelix. In August, PSA test showed that PSA had dropped to 2.7 and there was decrease in size and PSMA avidity
