Revlar Ellipta 92
Hi all, I have been on this 24 hour inhaler for 6 months now. I take it at 6.00pm in the evening. I feel it works for me to a certain extent but around 9.00am I need to take one pyff of Atrovent. This usually does me till I take the Revlar but sometimes I may have to take another puff of Atrovent. I

Calling nebuliser users! RE: Help with choosing a new one
Having just found out that my Aquilon2 nebuliser was recalled in February (due to the manufacturer still marketing and distributing it after the withdrawal of the CE accreditation) I’m looking to buy a new nebuliser compressor. I have the older version of the Omron micro-air for when I’m out and about

No diagnosis - treating symptoms only help please
After my latest test results I've accepted that my symptoms will be treated but not my thyroid. To be fair to my gp, she did all the tests including anti bodies and T3 and they show nothing that indicates a thyroid problem. I'm convinced there is one but I'll just have to be further down the line before

Severe asthma and lots of attacks (? Allergy related), any advice during wait to see consultant?
My meds were changed in October last year (simbicort to fostair) as I was taking ventolin every day, and my chest really didn't like fostair. I had a really fast, severe attack (pretty much ok to totally unable to breathe in about 15 minutes) in December, with similar symptoms in Feb and March - akin

Runny nose, rhinorrhea, Atrovent
I developed a cough from nasal drip that wouldn't go away. No sore throat. The cough would really act up around mealtime. My movement disorder specialist prescribed me Atrovent nasal spray. After a week my cough and runny nose has lessened. It's a relief. I was surprised to not find any similar posts

Extreme Tinnitus (ear infection?) - Help!
Something very strange has been happening to me since late February, and I'm rather worried. I wondered if anyone here has any suggestions (I'm seeing an ENT tomorrow). Timeline is this: Feb 21st: A nightclub decides to move into my head with an array of thumping-banging-booming sounds IN MY HEAD (

very dry eyes
last year my eyes have become much dryer and I no longer feel comfortable in my own body. Use the warm compresses and Hylo Forte drops but by night time my eyes are red and sore. Any suggestions, my optomologist doesn't feel there's a problem but he's not living with it.

FORTEO for bone fractures
I’m giving myself daily injections of FORTEO since nov 06,17. Also, I have PMR/GCA. I never show lab results supporting my diagnoses; however the biopsy was positive for GCA and I have monthly infusions of actemra to prevent blindness and to allow me to get off prednisone. 7 mg now on slow taper.

HOW MANY SYMPTOMS DO I NEED FOR DIAGNOSIS??
Hi all, I am yet to be diagnosed but feel totally confused and upset with the length of time it is taking and how slow the consultant is in dealing with me. I had been feeling poorly for about 6 months, exhausted but had difficulty sleeping, flu like symptoms but kept dragging myself to work and trying

Nebuliser
Hi I have mixed airways disease, but also severely restricted lung function due to curvature of spine. I'm on atrovent, flixotide and venolin. Use via a spacer. It has been suggested by Brompton that it may help to get my inhalers (not Flixotide) into my lungs more efficiently if I use a nebulisor.
