Atrial Tachycardia ablation coming up
I’m going in once again for another ablation. The 3rd one finally finished off the afib. But they couldn’t trigger the atrial tachycardia. Since it’s become even more frequent since the last ablation, I decided to give it another go. Dreading it even more than normal since our local hospital has stopped

Last chance saloon or what?
My most recent PSA score went up to 9.04 from 2.45 in March, 2.14 in January 1.05 in November and it was 0.61 in August. I finished Docetaxyl chemotherapy on 7th Septemb er last year so I've only been on Prostap with prednisolone since then. My onco says he will arrange urgent bone scan and full body

Xtandi is failing
Details are in my profile. Overall I’ve had good but not remarkably long term PCa control from standard of care treatments. In July 2018 when first diagnosed with widespread multiple tumours, I needed to turn things around in a hurry. Zoladex and docetaxel initially delivered a nadir of 0.06. I

Any coming back from this?
Here’s a summary of my father’s situation since he was diagnosed last year in May 2022. I used all of his clinical reports to create this, but you can see my previous posts as well. He’s only 60 years old today - 59 at the time of diagnosis. May 2022: Diagnosed with high burden prostate cancer (Gleason

Efficiency between Erleada & Zytiga?
I need to make a decision between Erleada and zytiga for metastatic ( by psma to LN) HS prostate cancer. Which one should I choose based on efficacy. I am sure some of you are familiar with clinical trials. Thanks for your input.

Prophylactics
Hi I have been on Acalabrutinib for two weeks now along with prophylactics, one being Co trimoxazole , which I seemed to react to. I have now been offered Pentamidine, which I have read up on and don’t like the sound of plus it does not sound as if it protects as well. Is anyone else on these drugs

Digoxin vs Pace & Ablate?
As some already know I’ve had a hard recovery since ablation on 23/11/22. HR was on the rise again slowly from then and the severe respiratory episode went on & on. Just coming to the end of what I think is maybe the 5th antibiotic course! I’ve now been on digoxin 125mcg since 28/2/22 and following

Bisoprolol to Sotalol
Hi everyone. I’ve been on 10 mgs of Bisoprolol for a year, having had the dose gradually increased since my diagnosis in 2017. This drug has served me well in lowering my heart rate when it has gone into Tachycardia territory. My cardiologist has said that if my Afib bothers me me more, then as I am

A very knowledgeable source informed me about a multi-institutional UK trial using dose adjustment in ovarian cancer. Does it ring any bells to you? "How does adaptive therapy work? Resistance comes at a cost to cancer cells, and so they cannot grow as well when they are competing with non-resistant

Ablation on Monday!
I did query why I had been offered this so quickly as only diagnosed with
Atrial
Flutter
in June 2022. Apparently it is due to the fact I am unable to take beta blockers as I have very low blood pressure. Also my tachycardia is playing up and my body is not at all happy.
