Elahere trials UK?

Does anyone know what the situation is with clinical trials re the new drug elahere in they U.K? I know in the U.S it has been approved by the FDA but not sure what's happening with drug re U K?

Thank you for your post. This treatment is currently being researched in the UK through the MIRASOL trial. There are more details about the trial here: clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show... . This page was last updated in March 2023 with no results currently posted but an estimated primary completion of September 2023. Hopefully this will mean that some encouraging results are available soon.

Hi win_56, the Ovacome team message is really useful here because the US and UK systems are different and drug developers interact with them differently. My sister in law was a VP for two big drug companies in the states which is useful when I need info!

Don’t be put off if the centre doing the trial is distant from you, they often have links with closer hospitals or financial support to help you access the trial. Good luck xx
