I have secondary Raynaud's should I be taking Nebivolol?
I have been diagnosed with Small Vessel Ischemia, (secondary Raynauds and Coronary Microvascular syndrome) it is believed to be via spasms. I am unstable, some stability was achieved last year by taking atenolol but it made the Raynauds worse so it was discontinued. A cardiologist in an emergency ward

AF for PCV drivers....
Hi everyone, I myself am not a sufferer but my fiancé is. He has had AF (undiagnosed properly until a few months ago) for 17 years, he is 45. I practically dragged him to the doctors and bullied people until they tested him properly.... leaning on your partners chest for the first time and listening

MHRA Medicines Recalls
Today the MHRA have put out two recalls of medicines made in a specific Indian manufacturing plant. No-one seems to think that there is any actual known issue with the medicines themselves. Therefore the recall is not intended to go out to patients. However, it is quite possible that there will be

Think I forgot my atenolol last night never done that before, just hoping I dont pay the price - doh !
Its my daughters wedding day today so here I am in my finery complete with big hat taking time out from the mayhem around me to relax. I think, in the madness surrounding me last night that I forgot to take my evening atenolol. I opted to risk missing a dose rather than risking doubling up. Not had

I have had persistent af for around 10 years, taking Digoxin, atenolol and warfarin, does anyone take digoxin and atenolol together , as I keep getting remarks from other doctors that it should not be taken together. I suffer from chronic fatigue on some days, wondering which drug is likely to be causing

Beta-blockers and exercise?
Apologies to anyone who's already answered this question, I posted it earlier today and couldn't see the answers. I wondered if anyone had experience of taking atenolol whilst doing C25K, I think it is slowing me down, I can only manage 3km in 30 minutes.

High blood pressure!
Hi all, I did mention my blood pressure in an earlier post… I have been treated for high blood pressure for about three years now. After being discharged from hospital due to a WG flair, I was put on 5mg of Ramipril by my nephrologist to control the hypertension. I was on high oral doses of Prednisolone

Weight gain from changing medication, please help......
My partner was on Myfortic Acid for 3 years before changing to Azathioprine. Around the same time she also changed her beta blocker from Atenolol to Bisoprolol. Approx 4months after these alterations in her medication she noticed that she had water retention around the chest and abdomen causing her weight
