Apologies to anyone who's already answered this question, I posted it earlier today and couldn't see the answers. I wondered if anyone had experience of taking atenolol whilst doing C25K, I think it is slowing me down, I can only manage 3km in 30 minutes.

You have 29 answers to your original post, if you can scroll down till you find it? My response was that altho I am not on any meds, I was (and still am) pretty slow, I didnt get to 5k till about 3 weeks after graduating (43 min) and then I did a parkrun and did it in just over 38 mins, and my most recent parkrun was 35 mins so it is getting faster lol!

Thank you for the advice but I don't plan on giving up that easily. I'm going to see my GP about coming off the atenolol and in the meantime I figure that running extremely slowly is better exercise than nothing
