Apologies to anyone who's already answered this question, I posted it earlier today and couldn't see the answers. I wondered if anyone had experience of taking atenolol whilst doing C25K, I think it is slowing me down, I can only manage 3km in 30 minutes.

You have 29 answers to your original post, if you can scroll down till you find it? My response was that altho I am not on any meds, I was (and still am) pretty slow, I didnt get to 5k till about 3 weeks after graduating (43 min) and then I did a parkrun and did it in just over 38 mins, and my most recent parkrun was 35 mins so it is getting faster lol!

Thank you, that's encouraging to hear :)

The site's playing up and when I click on my original question it doesn't show me the answers so thank you for answering again.

I had the same problem earlier - comments weren't appearing at all on some of the questions. I also found I couldn't post replies (again!)

Thank you for the advice but I don't plan on giving up that easily. I'm going to see my GP about coming off the atenolol and in the meantime I figure that running extremely slowly is better exercise than nothing :)
