Help with timing of medication
Hi I always take my Levothyroxine, T3 and Bendroflumethiazide at the same time in the morning, between half an hour and an hour before a cup of tea. My question is should I continue to do this (have done this for years) or should I take the Bendroflumethiazide away from the Levo and T3 and if so what

Anxiety+panic, side effects from meds, let down by GP
Hello, I had panic attacks 20 years ago and avoided a lot. The attacks stopped over time (2years) and I was symptom free until 2 years ago. Had first one at airport, second a year later at my mother s home, since then depression crept in, constant worrying. GP put me on Prothiaden, an antidepressant

What a day
I saw my EP this morning and he’s taken me off Amiodarone (yay!). I’m not sure how I’ll go when it eventually gets out of my system. I’m still on Digoxin and Atenolol but even the 3 drugs together weren’t controlling things fully. He was discussing the prospect of another ablation. This will be number

A Bad Day
Today was what I qualify as a "bad day" for me mentally. I had trouble sleeping this morning (I work overnights, so I stay up all night and go to bed around 7 AM, even on my day's off), so it was 11 AM before I remember my eyes closing. I was dosed well on atenolol and hydroxyzine (beta blocker/antihistamine

Obtained my results as advised by the community, after being advised by GP to go for repeat test in 4-6 weeks as borderline thyroid issue...
Hi Just done the repeat blood test for thyroid and as I asked why my B12 was so high they are retesting B12 in case of a mistake in the lab. (I was expecting a low B12, as my sister has B12 injections, she is hypothyroid, Hashimotos and has MS. Mum and auntie also the hypothyroid condition. I don't

Sotalol
Has anyone had the same problems as me with 80mg twice per day of Sotalol and swapped to another Beta blocker. Side effects I am getting are aching legs that don’t to walk far. Feeling tired lethargic and quite depressed at times so going to seek advice after new year to see if there are any alternatives

Beta blockers and Diabetes
Hi everyone. I’ve been taking Atenolol for 3 months after coming off Bisoprolol and feel so much better. I have to go for a medication review later with GP and have been reading up on both of these beta blockers. It appears that most of these can cause diabetes which I have now been diagnosed with! I

New Drug Regime
My EP said today that we need to take an aggressive approach to get my AF/tachycardia under control. I was very nervous when he mentioned Amiodarone as I have read so many horror stories about it but he said he will only keep me on it for a couple of months. I’m also going onto Atenolol and staying on

Graves and Beta Blockers
Morning, Coming up to week 4 of medication (40mgs carbimazole) and I’m pleased to report that I’m feeling so much better. I’m back to work next week. My question is when do you stop the beta blockers? I have had to switch from atenolol to propranolol to bisoprolol due to asthma symptoms. I’m desperate
