Hello
Put on hydroxyurea, 1000mg per day, and
aspirin
. Only 3 weeks into this so still wrapping my head around it. I had no symptoms....feels like all this came out of left field. Came across this site, it is encouraging to read comments from many of you living with it and have for many years.

Appointment with Rheumatologist and my falling!
He said both the hydroxychlorequin and Prednisolone have an
aspirin
like effect on the blood making it thinner! The plan is to go down to zero in 8 weeks. The last time I went to zero I had a massive flare.

Any tips and advice for my fet starting next week?
Things I am already doing ~ Vitamins- folic acid & vitD (going to add vit c) Already on
aspirin
due to previous portal vein thrombosis. Am really trying to take it in my stride but also a little nervous it’s our last embryo 😩 Any rate acupuncture before transfer? Or any other treatment?

Why continue warfarin?
Will I be okay to go off warfarin and switch back to taking 2 low dose
aspirin
daily? My cardiologist just shrugged and said he can't make me continue warfarin. I believe my diagnosis of AFib was erroneous.

Tingling in arms and legs
I was diagnosed with ET earlier this year and am just taking
aspirin
at the moment. Although I have had tinnitus for a number of years - just after getting my diagnosis, I started developing tingling in my legs and feet and this seems to have now moved up through my body to my arms and hands.

3rd Covid Vaccine - Scotland
Currently, on venesections and
aspirin
only. My question is, has anyone in a similar position to me, who lives in Scotland been contacted regarding a third vaccine dose? Or has anyone tried to push for one. Hope everyone is doing well, despite the trying circumstances we are all living in.

end of my tether
Why on earth didn't she just say it causes severe joint pain for which we prescribe hydroxy and btw you should take an
aspirin
???? I honestly feel like I am doing this all myself. I could have come to this conclusion with the help of Google and a couple of blood tests.
