surprise surprise!
I've been told to dial 999 if I experience symptoms and my gtn spray &
aspirin
don't work. I have and do experience often but I don't want to be admitted unnecessarily and feel a fraud when I see really ill people in other wards. Surely I will know myself if serious enough! ?

Clopidigrel and GI bleeds
I also don’t tolerate
aspirin
well as a substitute. The doctors are still weighing options but say ultimately it will be my decision and that is rather frightening. Thanks to all in reading this.

Latest Consensus on Omega-3, Aspirin & Curcumin?
Aspirin
- My personal conclusion "take it or leave it" (possibly depending on if you're using Curcumin instead or if you have CVD risks you are trying to mitigate.)

Strange sensations
These feelings have been around for some considerable time and I’ve not really thought about it (it’s not painful, doesn’t disrupt me or my sleep, just a sort of tingly, glowing sensation, similar to over doing the sunshine) now I’m wondering if it’s linked to my ET jak2+ (Platelets 650, only on

6th vaccine
I did not have to show any documents although I am 74years ET + on Hydroxy and
aspirin
. They asked the usual questions and which vaccine I was due. The vaccination was administered by the pharmacist who informed me that my next vaccine, the 6th, Is due in 91 days.

Main differences in blood tests results for ET and PV diagnosis?
Although I have an ET JAK2+ve diagnosis, my platelet levels have never been as high as a lot of people report on here- generally around the 500ish mark and more recently being only 425 (despite only being on
aspirin
) .

Low hemoglobin count - related to blood thinners?
I had a heart attack in December and 2 stents fitted; have been on all sorts of drugs since - 2 of them blood thinners -
Aspirin
and ticagrelor since. Have recently had routine blood test showing very low hemoglobin levels which could account for general feeling of tiredness/breathlessness.
