we are waiting for diagnosis. And I am so scared…
My husband had very strange sensation about 2 months ago. He describes it “electric ants marching from his temple to the end of the arms” and felt nauseous. If I think back, it might have been seizures. It went away after 2 weeks, then he started suffering from daily headache. He always had migraine

Just Want To Feel Better...
I've had rheumatoid
arthritis
since 2013 but rheumatology say the
pain
isn't due to my RA He advised me to go back on antidepressants (I came off them in March 2022) tried them again in October but had a scarey reaction to them (tremors) The question I'm trying to ask is are there any meds that treat

BURSITIS
I have had an x-ray for hip
pain
and told I have
arthritis
in both hips and lower back but according to a physiotherapist the extreme pain I am experiencing, particularly laying in bed at night, is bursitis. Any tips and hints for managing this pain would be greatly appreciated.

two weeks and told to cut meds
Hi I'm new to this as I've said in my previous post so learning all the time. I have been told that after two weeks on 15mg prednisone I should come down to 12.5 mg and so on . Curious what would taking steroids in two weeks only have done for my polymyalgia I thought they were just pain killers

ESA ending - put in Work Related Activity group
I’m feeling absolutely hopeless, useless and pointless right now. Had the dreaded health assessment for Employment Support Allowance a few days ago and have been notified that I have been placed in the Work Related Activity group rather than the Support group. Not only does this mean that the DWP think

Is this it?
I saw my oncologist today, and as I thought the Anastrazole isn't working. Having already had Carbo/Taxol, Avastin and Carbo/Caelyx all he has left in his arsenal is weekly Taxol. Can you please tell me how you managed with this, and whether it was worthwhile. He said that I probably only have about

He said that I am now steroid dependent and should stay at 6mg (or 5) for the rest of my life as it also helps with the
pain
I have from osteo

Day 12th after cut. Improvment
Today is my first night that I slept well, my mood is over the moon now ;) . Had lots of erections but they were pretty mild with pain. I stopped taking pain killers on day 8th as kinda didn't wanted to trash my liver. I hope that from now on each day will be just improvment without any complication

My mom is in a nursing home, along with PSP she also has a lot of
pain
due to
arthritis
and back issues. She has become so mean and bitter. She lashes out, blaming me and my dad for her situation. She says vile things and is constantly kicking her feet and making bizarre movements.

Wife's hip replacement
Wifey needs a new hip, something that at different ages, the recovery can be different, on other people. She's having it done privately, and info so far suggests in and out-same day. Would this be right. She will be sore after, so presume she'll be dosed up with painkillers. So, when does the pain

Hi, has anyone elected to stop Methotrixate due to the side effects and inconclusive RA diagnosis. Decided to stop as side effects outweigh benefits! Has anyone then moved on to controlling inflammation with alternatives like turmeric, devils claw or Chinese remedies. There has to be an alternative
