No Blood Pressure
I have Takayasu
Arteritis
. Whenever I go to the GP or hospital, where they need to take my blood pressure, they can't find one. Can anyone tell me what they do in this situation? Is there somewhere on your body that makes getting blood pressure easier?

CBD with antidepressants and painkillers?
I am taking Venlalic XL 150 mg and Pregablin 150 mg for Fibromyalgia and am keen to understand the risks if any from also using CBD oil for the pain. Anyone have any info or experience, I would be grateful. The CBD oil is 2.75% recommended by a friend who does not take any antidepressants or painkillers

Bruising on skin without any obvious reason
Hello All, I am 46 and I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 38. Although I take a lot of medication it is still active and not under control. I get a great deal of pain particularly in my hands and I also feel fatigued a lot. I am getting bruises on my arms and legs. There is no obvious reason

Visit to Arthritis Doctor
I want to thank everyone that responded to my recent request about PMR affecting hands and feet. I went to my arthritis doctor yesterday and she still is not convinced I have PMR. She wants me off of prednisone as soon as possible. I am tapering but not as quickly as she would like. If she can

Suffering from GCA or Prednisolone
I am a 68 year oldman who has suffered from polymyalgia/ giant cell
arteritis
for 11 years to date...or have I? I know I had polymyalgia for 1 year which then turned into GCA - as confirmed with a pet scanned ( I was told I lit up like a belisha beacon).

Calories counter
Hi I’ve only just joined I’ve gone through all the things I need to do but I can’t manage the exercise part due to arthritis. I’m looking at wanting to lose 3 stone and find it hard to find a decent app that will give me a calorie counter so I know how much is in foods.

CBD oil and AF
Thinking of taking CBD oil for arthritis (no THC). Does anyone know of problems taking this with AF, I haven't had an episode in over a year, or any reactions with Eliquis?

Newly diagnosed SeroNegative RA
I have just been diagnosed with SeroNegative RA - although awaiting some further xrays (inc neck and chest) and I think rheumatologist might also be checking for ankylosing spondylitis. I had a hip replacement 8 weeks ago following a a diagnosis of rapidly progressive osteoarthritis although it would

Thermal cameras effective in detecting rheumatoid arthritis.
A new study, published today in Scientific Reports, highlights that thermal imaging has the potential to become an important method to assess Rheumatoid Arthritis. Results of the study, carried out with 82 participants, confirm that both palm and finger temperature increase significantly in patients

Anyone familiar with Eosinophilic Fasciitis?
My dad, who is in his 60s, was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Fasciitis this past June. Apparently this auto immune disease is rare, and they don't know much about it. So far the medication they have tried on my dad has not had any real positive affects. One of which is called prednisone & and another is

MRI Aorta without contrast for TAK diagnosis
Hi, I am due to have an MRI Aorta for suspected Takayasu
Arteritis
. On the referral form, it says ‘with contrast’, however, I really want to avoid contrast and would like this done without.
