Sometimes the pain is quite bad, especially on stairs. Sometimes it's only aggravated by activity. Sometimes there's barely

Had a f2f with rheumatologist last week . Really thorough appt. Gave me a steroid injection to get me through my dads funeral. Both agreed things continue to be very active . He said he wanted to go over my history and get back in touch after another blood test. Letter received this morning. New diagnosis

osteoarthritis & knee splints question
Both my knees are in need of full replacement. I'm only in my early 50's and want to delay surgery as long as I can. The Orthopaedic Dr I saw yesterday agreed and will give me injections into the knees and also knee splints. Do any of you use splints for your knees? How do you find them? Can

RA Awareness Week (RAAW) begins on Monday - Test your friends and family on their RA knowledge
The theme of RAAW this year is to dispel the myths that surround living with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). The RA community, people living with RA, their families/carers and Healthcare professionals are only too aware of the misconceptions that other people can have around inflammatory arthritis, which

Links between Methotrexate and menopause
hello, has anyone experienced entering into early menopause whilst on Methotrexate? I'm 41 years old and have been on Methotrexate for almost 2 years,I'm. Experiencing menopausal symptoms but GP won't do a blood test to test hormone levels and suggests could be down to my arthritis meds. thanks

Osteoarthritis and Thyroid
Hi all, I am 31 and have just been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my feet, knees and hands. It saya online most people who develop it at my age are athletes or have had an injury. Neither of which are true for me. I’m actually just wondering if there could be a link between hypothyroidism and osteoarthritis
