The Motivate RA research study conducted by Liverpool John Moores University are currently looking for new participants. The study seeks to identify effective methods to help people with rheumatoid arthritis increase and maintain physical activity levels to benefit their physical and mental health. This a remote (home based) study which is open to anyone in mainland UK who meets the eligibility criteria. If you or anyone you know may be interested, get in touch via email at motivate.ra@ljmu.ac.uk MOTIVATE-RA study have already had many people complete the study and have had really excellent feedback so far! One participant said "I have really enjoyed the walks. Thank you for the positive encouraging comments, I am actually feeling good after the walks, it's better than nursing my pain at home". We would be more than happy to have a chat with anyone who feels they may like to take part and wants to learn more.

Some of the key criteria for participation include: Aged 18-65 years old  Have a clinical diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis.  Have access to a smart phone with WiFi/data plan.     Meeting any of the following criteria will prevent you from participating in the study:  Completing 2 or more hours of structured exercise per week. Unstable medication (change in RA medication within the 3 months).

If you are unsure on any of these, then please do not hesitate to contact their research team at motivate.ra@ljmu.ac.uk and they will be glad to help.
