Volume of ectopics graph in the 17 weeks since my ablation
450 ecgs in 115 days using a KardiaMobil 6L. I ecg after exercise, when Kardia diagnosis is other than Normal Sinus Rhythm, if I am suspicious of even mild palpitations and also following previous ectopics (so if I have ectopics, I’ll do repeat ecgs until they’ve gone).

Mouth Taping
I have been a ' mouth breather' all my life . ( 70 yrs old now). I would say it became problematic as I entered by 50's. Waking up in the middle of the night with extreme dry mouth/throat. Then waking in the morning with a slight headache and low energy. I somehow landed on a 'mouth taping' site (

Here we go again!
It has been seven years since I posted, though I've been checking in on all of you! Amazing to see how things have changed since 2013 when I first followed this feed. I am most grateful for all the information as well as the sharing. I go in tomorrow for my 5th ablation - so for those of you who are

Chronic prostatitis for over 30 years.
Prostatitis History 1984 age 20. Penis tip pain lasting 30 minutes after ejaculation with a full bladder. Resolved after one hour. I quickly learned the correlation of full bladder=equals penis tip pain after ejaculation and began making sure my bladder was empty before having sex. 1986 contracted

AFib and Herbal Anxiety Meds (I’m new to all this!)
Hello! This is all still relatively new to me and this week my anxiety has been awful! I am on bisoprolol and wondered if it was ok to take Kalms whilst on these beta blockers? I don’t know if I can cope with the anxiety and horrible panicky feelings anymore and need something to help me. I feel so

Feeling sad
Anyone else feel forgotten Having a moan, I was diagnosed three years ago with AFib , I am 73. This disease is the most awful thing and no one in the medical profession seems interested . I have no contact with my Consultant and my Doctors told me you have a chronic condition , learn to live with it.

A bit disheartened and confused
A little over 2 years ago at age 36 I experienced the first of what I came to find out was an Afib episode (of course, not until after being told I was just having panic attacks by some very unhelpful ER personnel). This was about a week after a doctor had prescribed me rizatriptan for headaches (

Pneumonia...yuck!
After my foot surgery, I developed a cough. It did not improve and this morning I was having some trouble breathing. I felt like I might have pneumonia, so I went to the doctor. Yes, it is pneumonia. I have achey arms and legs, a headache also. Hope the antibiotic kicks in quickly! Love to all, Kelly

PAF changing experiences
Hi, I do not post very often but read the posts every day. I thought the Patients Day was excellent this year. Brief recap of my history:- I am 80 years young and have had PAF since January 2001. I would have one or two episodes a year until last year when I had them every couple of weeks. This year

My PVC’s are back! I used to take Escitalopram for 4 years to keep them under control.
I have found 2 studies that note that Escitalopram could be a precursor to AFib. Another item that cardiologists don’t mention. PVC’s are making my heart do double backflips at night causing anxiety. Anyone in the same situation?

Failure at getting off antiarrhythmic med
I am a 57 years old Male. March 2021, afib episodes, while deep breathing to try to slow my heart rate, fell in syncope, had sustained vtach, vfib and cardiac arrest. Fortunately, I was already hospitalized for rapid afib and watched on a heart monitor. 2 days later I had a pacemaker/defibrilator.

DVLA
Back in August I posted that I'd written to the DVLA about my Afib after I was comparing car insurance quotes for renewal and one of the questions was about notifiable health problems. The DVLA website was a bit ambiguous which is why I contacted them. I finally got a letter this week bit scared to open

I just had my one year anniversary of my second ablation and have now had a year of no af and the only thing I still take is apixoban. I do get an ectopic beat every 50 or so beats on average and occasionally have had lots of ectopics where in my mind the afib is “ trying” to get going. I am not in
