The “booster dose” is slightly less than you would get from a 3rd vaccine dose. Best thing to do is speak with your doc about it.

Only the Moderna is less than full dose. Pfizer and AZ are full strength.

I had my 3rd dose last week (Pfizer, 1st 2 were AZ) and was told I'd be called for a booster in May 2022

I'm also 42 and have ET triple negative

If you had the third jab under the ‘booster programme’ and not the ‘third primary vaccine programme’ then you need to ensure that your vaccine record is amended. You will want the booster dose to be recorded as a third primary vaccine. If you don’t, then you won’t get called for the booster - i.e. fourth vaccine - in six months. Furthermore, if the third vaccine was Moderna then you need to speak to your haematologist / GP. The Moderna booster is not a full strength dose. Hope this helps.

My Husband had his 3rd last week, I asked his consultant about this and he said that he needed it and have the booster 12 weeks later. I did ring up to inform them( vaccine site,) when we went to have the vaccine they did ask for a letter stating he needed a 3rd jab I explained he had PMP. They did give him his 3rd vaccine. They told him they will get in touch in 6 months for his booster.

When i went for my 3rd (booster) i spoke firstly to the person checking me in, then as advised by her to speak to the person administering the dose

Both said that it was fine and it would be out on the system as a 3rd primary and id be called forward again in 6 months.

I think its just a case of discussing when you get there, i took the letters with me incase but they didnt need to see them,

I had the full Pfizer dose but they did say it was exactly the same for both
