I have found 2 studies that note that Escitalopram could be a precursor to AFib. Another item that cardiologists don’t mention. PVC’s are making my heart do double backflips at night causing anxiety.
Anyone in the same situation?

I was given something very similar over a decade ago after a series of events made my anxiety worsen but I reacted very badly indeed to it. I have come to hate these SSRI drugs but I know others seem to find them okay if not especially effective at times.
I remember reading back then that some antidepressants can affect the electrical conductivity of the heart to some degree but that the newer SSRIs were less worrying in this regard at normal doses. PVCs are usually benign but troublesome things as I know well. PACs occurring in the upper chamber can set off AF, I gather.
