Tavi declined by Consultant, but medical records maybe incorrect!
I was first diagnosed with
aortic
stenosis
in 2016, since then I’ve been on 20mg of Furosemide and one amiodarone 200mg. The cardiologist tells me I have a strong left ventricle function. I had an echo done, I’ve been told the valve is now more rigid and she mentions a TAVI procedure.

Expiration date
After reading about the (supposed?) shortage of B12 in UK, I, too, am wondering if PanPharma’s shortened expiration date from 2 years to one year has contributed to this perceived shortage. Have we gotten the final answer on why PanPharma shortened their expiry date? Does anyone know if the inactive

Echocardiogram Report - Bizarre as simply added to my NHS record.
I had heart surgery in February, 2020 to replace a bicuspid
aortic
valve with severe
aortic
stenosis
and a dilated

Besremi has (No?) Preservative
This is info is just for curious types, nothing of concern or worry for us Bes users. -Most injectables have some means for preserving. Refrigerating is a 1st line of defense. For Besremi there is confusing info on whether and what type of preservative beyond keeping it cold Besremi uses. In the

I'm so anxious because when I have read about asymptomatic
aortic
stenosis
you only have -2-3 years but he was talking years when I spoke to him last February. It doesn't help not being able to get GP appts. Getting so down.

I’m new here, but wanted to share a positive message and touch on post heart attack mental health
I’m 58 and suffered a heart attack (STEMI), on a plane followed by cardiogenic shock in April 2022. I have 5 stents fitted to two arteries supplying my heart. I went into cardiogenic shock shortly after the first 4 stents were inserted during the heart attack. I was taken into intensive care and had

Minor Aortic calcification and 1st Degree Heart Block
He says this doesn't constitute
aortic
stenosis
and heart block is benign. Have declared my CVD and stent and all medications. Don't want to over state my conditions but a week to holiday and got the jitters.

Third open heart surgery
Hi there, my partner has been diagnosed with severe
aortic
stenosis
and will need a valve replacement soon. He has congenital heart disease and this will be his third open heart surgery. Has anyone here undergone multiple surgeries? How was it?

Ablation done.
Subsequent echo and CT scan unearthed a bicuspid
aortic
valve with mild/moderate
stenosis
. No immediate concern from consultant around this, I am now on a monitoring plan. I remained in persistent AF, though it was much less symptomatic.

Severe Aortic Stenosis
My breathing over the past two years has got increasingly laboured on gradients, following all sorts of tests an Echocardiogram has located
Aortic
Stenosis
, and it’s severe. Just waiting for specialist to confirm, but it looks like major surgery, my worst nightmare.

Marking time
I got my
aortic
valve
stenosis
on March 11 2022, followed by an arterial stenosis diagnosis after an angiogram in May. My heart function is less than 40%. I have no immediate prospect of surgery, though my cardiologist at the time of diagnosis said the valve needed to be replaced urgently.

Your experiences with periodical Echocardiogram.
I have
Aortic
stenosis
and have had 2 echocardiograms to monitor it. On my last scan, they could not decide to see me again in 12 months or 24, so they opted for 18 months. Im posting today to ask about people's experiences on having regular monitoring and how that progresses to eventual treatment.

Calcium Supplements linked to worse outcomes in Aortic Stenosis for older patients.
I thought it useful to raise awareness of these findings for some of our members. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/972850

Third Update, Triple Threat and still no Buzzards Above. Now, why Ibrance?
HEART: The message from the heart surgeon at Columbia PresbyterianHospital is that although the
aortic
heart valve is thick with calcium and has
stenosis
, the opening has not got small enough for surgery. So, I will have to be monitored and wait till I get sick enough for surgery.
