Hi Hearties I posted last week to say I was awaiting TAVI procedure I had the procedure yesterday and was home before 7pm last night as everything went brilliantly. I'm a little uncomfortable in groin where they gained access to insert the new valve and feeling quite tired but for next few weeks i will be taking everything very slow and steady. big thank you to all at Lancashire Cardiac Centre at Blackpool Victoria hospital who were brilliant and deserve a medal of their own as there tower. keep on ticking

Brilliant! Great it's gone so smoothly and you're out the other side and back home already. Hope the recovery goes well for you and, yes, take it easy and pace things and yourself. As I always say, it's called 'patient' for a reason. Well done! Nic x

Really good news, but after my own experience am not surprised. I still marvel at how matter of the fact the whole process is! We are so fortunate the way things have progressed. You are obviously on track to make a good return to normal life - agree with Nic's advice and second it.

Hi LBCdance, you actually replied to me rather than rockingrandpa :) but I'm sure he'll see it on the thread! But great advice. Nic x

Thanks, typical me pressing the wrong button, but as you say sure RG will read all the posts

Hi Rockingrandpa

That’s amazing! So glad it went so well and you feel OK.

Yes, do take it easy now.

SO glad all went so well. Hope. I am as lucky on 13 th !! Can’t believe you were home so very quickly. As Nic says, definitely take it easy as our bodies sometimes need a lot of TLC . I would love to hear how you progress and what appointments, treatments etc you will be expecting in the next few weeks . Relax and recover swiftly all the best
