People of HU: Awaiting Open Heart Surgery
I learned I have a mild
aortic
stenosis
, and this had probably been caused by radiotherapy for breast cancer on my left side. I was also suffering with central aortic regurgitation, which the doctor considered to be severe. To say I was stunned is an understatement.

Valve replacement 34years old-any advice
Born with
aortic
stenosis
bicuspic value, and as many others, was told surgery is inevitable. However, I wasn't expecting this to occur at 34 years of age. My wife is also expecting with our first child, due in Jan2022. Condition has been deemed severe, moving from moderate.

Aortic valve replacement
My beautiful boy was born with
Aortic
stenosis
. He’s had to valvuloplasties one when he was 12 and the other when he was 16. The latter left his valve leaking but he’s been ok. Now he’s 34 and we have just heard he has to have the valve replaced with an onyx mechanical valve.

Exercising with A-FIB - and after affects
I have
aortic
stenosis
and a parachute mitral valve ("the structure of my heart is not normal" in the words of my EP) which we think is the reason for the ablations not working (the ablations may have worked, but the valves are messing up the electrics). So we are working out what to do next.

Low HB one to think about
I saw an on call cardiologist who read my notes and instantly diagnosed Heydes Syndrome directly caused by
aortic
stenosis
! ( a side dish if you will ) And once valve surgery is complete the syndrome / the bleeds stop !

Stomach issues
I have mild
aortic
stenosis
and occasional Atrial fibrillation so being concerned the chest pains were a possible warning of a heart issue I went back to see the GP.

Abdominal pain from shots?
I have had constant upper abdominal pain for two weeks. I had been titrating my sc injections because of side effects. I use hydroxy. When I did a 500 mcg. dose the abdominal pain started that day. I waited ten days to do my next shot and only too 250 mcg. My abdominal pain is the same. Nothing else
