Hi everyone I hope you are all keeping as well as you can be.

I have been off here for a while as I almost lost my son to covid on September 2nd . He was brought into hospital the Sunday before and he went down ill rapidly. Things became really bad on the Thursday morning .when his oxygen dropped way down . Thankfully he was in the best of hands and received a drug which saved him from icu and brought him home to us. This is the same son Marc who did a 3 month. Challenge to raise awareness and funds of £1,500 by losing 3 stone and walking 10,000 steps a day …he is now on the road to recovery.

My oldest son Shane has a heart condition and we have just learnt he has to have a new aortic valve . He was born with aortic stenosis and has two procedures throughout his life but now his valve is leaking so the time we have all be dreading has come.

So a very worrying time for all my family but at least I wasn’t the topic of conversation for a while !

Life certainly loves to challenge us all but we just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and stay strong .

Upward and onward and have faith that God will look after my boys and keep me strong so I can be the mum they need for a few years yet
