For info I have reduced lung function due to scoliosis,

Is Hydroxocobalamin im suitable for sub cut?
So I finally got to see my gp following the haematologist appointment last Monday and now have my prescription of Ampoules. They state on the box that they are for Im injection but I would prefer to do sub cut as with everything else going on I am not quite confident that I can relax enough to inject

What is ‘valvular’ atrial fibrillation? A reappraisal Valvular and non-valvular AF
Interesting article here on treatment: http://eurheartj.oxfordjournals.org/content/early/2014/09/28/eurheartj.ehu352 My AF started as a result of having my
aortic
valve replaced with a tissue valve because of
aortic
stenosis

Training on flecainide
I am 41 years old and have mild mitral
stenosis
. I had some membrane removed from my
aortic
valve when I was 15. So my heart is not normal, but healthy enough not to get in my way as long as I don't try compete in running or riding races, or field sports. In April I had atrial fibrillation.

Blood in urine???
Without labouring the point too much (because I have posted before), I was diagnosed with Primary Hypothyroidism at the same time as having a newly diagnosed Bicuspid
Stenosis
of the
Aortic
Heart Valve (which I've now had replaced with a mechanical valve and therefore on Warfarin for life).

What's been going on?
When I went they told me I should have been back every year for a follow-up since I had an
Aortic
Valve
Stenosis
! They had written to my GP telling him this, but he had not only seen fit to keep that information from me but had also failed to send me for the required annual follow-ups!

Can surgeon delay operation for heart bi pass because I take T3?
Diagnosed with sever
aortic
stenosis
and small amount of plaque around heart vessels. cardiologist recommended bi pass. It was found that I was anaemic as well and also had small ulcer. Tests and procedures have been set up to identify type of anaemia and I have had a blood transfusion.

I have been asked by my GP to pay for my B12 ampules! Is this normal?
Hi everyone, with help from another B12 support website I sourced acetic acid free B12, it's Cobalin H Hydroxocabalamin. A woman who advised of this gets it free via her GP, it's the one her practice uses for everyone. I have interstitial cystitis where I have to avoid all acids, so a very valid reason

Acetic Acid Free B12 Injection?
Hi everyone, I started my B12 injections this afternoon. Because I have Interstitial Cystitis I have to be as acid free as possible. I asked my GP for the ingredients, because I had a week of bladder pain and spasms after a synacthen test :-( Unfortunately B 12 injections contains acetic acid too.

My mom was diagnosed with PBC at the age of 62, each of her children were then tested and we all came out negative. I'm now 62 with
numerous medical issues (
Aortic
Stenosis
, Pulm Hypertension, High B/P, hypothyroid, CHF,COPD....etc), but I'd like to be retested for PBC. My doc looked at me like I was crazy for even suggesting it. Should I just forget about it?

Depression and Thanking Carers
I am 71 and have severe COPD and
aortic
stenosis
, and I have two questions I would like to ask other members of the forum. Firstly, depression is often quoted as one of the effects of COPD. Thankfully I do not suffer depression too often, but would like to know how others cope with it.
