. How sick have some of you been prior to getting valve repacement op. Consultant that did angiogram got into his head I was symptom less. I feel as though I have been abandoned. Very scary when chest pain really ramps up.

Mild aortic stenosis
I was recently diagnosed following an echocardiogram. I will have a follow up echo in 3 years. The only medication I have is ramipril 2.5mg. I discovered my blood pressure was as high as it is now 5 years ago but the nurse only said it was a bit high and it wasn't pursued. What I'm wondering is if 3

Which type of aortic valve replacement is right for me?
I have just found out that I have severe
aortic
stenosis
and have been referred for a replacement valve. I am a keen climber, bouldering mainly. Should I get mechanical or tissue? Can you climb hard on warferin? Anyone got experience of this?

Hi, I was recently told I have mild

stenosis
and await an MRI to assess the

Hello! Does anyone else live with a BAV? I was looking for a local support group to join but there isn’t one in my town. Glad I found this online group!

Hello from a newbie
I'm new on here, having been diagnosed with bicuspid
aortic
stenosis
. My consultant has told me I'm now ready for a valve replacement. I'd like to chat to others who have had an aortic valve replacement.
