Is this an allergy? or some sort of long lasting cold?
Antihistamines
haven't helped much the few times I've taken them (usually just after I've had a bout of sneezing, they help keep it off for a while but never stop it for longer than an hour), and I've kept a list of what seems to set me off, most of the time it's either dust or plants.

Allergy relief helped me
I am new to this group, but wanted to let people on this site know that I take an antihistamine, (Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10mg ) one a day, I now find I get far fewer migraine headaches or attacks. It helped me, it may help you too. You can get it over the counter in lots of shops not just chemist shops

I do not do well with many of the
antihistamines
because of the side effects of them. I have not been officially told that I have COPD and CT scan of chest and there were several subpleural apial blebs. I guess if it was really bad news my doctor would have said something.

Not sure 😞😞
Hi as I said on my other post I have had asthma all my life . With the usual flare ups and chesty things happening I got on with it . Until three years ago as I said in other post . Well I'm convinced that what is happening to me is not asthma related or a chest infection like the docs and nurses keep

Hi. Was thought to have PBC back in 2005 but nobody followed it up. After having further regular blood tests a couple of years back PBC was immediately diagnosed due to elevated liver function tests and was referred to a specialist. My original specialist saw me every 3 months did annual MRI and Bone

How long to recover?
I posted a week ago when I had a chesty cough and peak flow around 300-350 (pb 570). Dr said it was hayfever which caused sinus infection which then caused chest infection. He prescribed antihistamine, nose spray and antibiotics. With a couple of days my pf had gone up to 400 and the thick chesty cough

Sometimes I just want to give up!
I'm feeling really unwell tonight. I want to sleep; but I can't. My eyes are on fire; they feel so dry and almost like I've got grit in them, and they're awfully itchy. I normally always have a very faint malar rash, but tonight it's come out like I've been sun burnt, it's very dry and extremely itchy

Could this be anxiety?
I'm on
antihistamines
, steroids, steroid nasal spray and garlic tablets as the doctor's thinking sinitus and rhinitis now. Does this sound right? But the steroids don't seem to of reduced the nasal swelling or my breathing. I've had the odd half hour where my breathing seems clearer.

Sniff, sniff ... drip, drip
I'm feeling pretty woebegone with a nasty headcold, but when I stopped in at the druggist to pick up a cold remedy, the directions on most cautioned that they should not be taken by anyone who takes an MAO-I or "a Parkinson's medication." What does that mean, I wonder? I settled for chicken broth and
