Asthma and GERDS
Again I wasnt satisfied with the diagnoses as i was taking
antihistamines
to help my breathing that did help. It wasn't long before I came to the Dr with a grape sized polyp that had blown out my nose.

First Asthma Attack Ever - Recovery Time?
They gave me IV steroids, antibiotics,
antihistamines
and nebuliser treatment. Then a course of different pills and nebulisers to take for 10 days after discharge. Now back in the UK, I saw my GP and explained what happened.

Hypnotherapy
Has anyone tried hypnotherapy or homeopathy for RLS. I did years ago but with no effect. I also read that antihistamine makes it worse. I do take one for itchy skin. GP advised me to buy an over counter sleeping pill and that contains antihistamine. Can’t have prescription one as have sleep apnea and

I have only taken 2
antihistamines
during this time as someone said they are bad but they don't die down otherwise. I'm now even more frustrated that I'm going on holiday with thrush and this skin problem if It doesn't clear up by the 20th. Any ideas lovely people? X

Throat itch drives me mad
They also do make me a little bit drowsy by late afternoon/early evening so I haven't tried any "drowsy"
antihistamines
that has been recommended due to my disturbed sleep at night.

6 years and still in the dark
GP's given me strong
antihistamines
but its making me so angry - I want to know WHY I need them. They make me feel like a hypochondriac and, while I'm not a vain person, this rash and sometimes pimples on my face has diminished what little self confidence I had.

Rash
The itch is driving me mad and
antihistamines
are doing nothing. My skin biopsy suggested possibly Urticarial Vasculitis.

Urticaria and BD
Is there any connection between BD and urticaria? I've been suffering from hives for the past six months. It's a sort of persisting nettle rash mainly on my face, head, and chest and I can't even sleep at night. I'm in therapy with colchicine, prednisone 5mg and cetirizine. This is giving me a significant

Rash at the moment
Antihistamines
are doing nothing and steroid creams minimal relief. I have Dermacool, but can't use it on broken skin. I'm demented and embarrassed - I wear a short-sleeved uniform at work and I'm going to have to start wearing my cardigan.

New CKD Stage 3 - opinions please
So glad, but overwhelmed w/so much info, to find this site. Just diagnosed w/Stage 3 CKD & sounds like many like me: Scared. I'm an active 69 yr old, 80% vegetarian, normal weight w/none of the typical symptoms for CKD, can only figure it's reflux & past pain medications or my love for sugar (not diabetic

Urticarial Vasculitis
Various creams and
antihistamines
have had negligible results. I eventually had a skin biopsy and my rheumatologist did a few more bloods, including Vitamin D. Then he completely dismissed me and sent me on my way.

Facial tic
Hi, am just gonna put this out there so if anyone can shed some light it will be much appreciated. I am currently on T3 only while awaiting my first endo appointment as my doctor agrees that I may not be converting due to my last results. I was watching telly lst night when suddenly I felt my face

Non-stop runny nose & sneezing
So far, I've tried all kinds of
antihistamines
and check up from specialists. But, whenever I treat my runny nose & sneezing, I get a postnasal drip which makes me cough instead of sneezing.

Can you develop an allergic reaction to meds after taking them for a while?
My go told me yesterday that the "bites" i have so many of aren't, they're an allergy to something. She's given me an antihistamine. Asked me if I'd been near poison ivy - I haven't! I can't think of anything and I've had them for a good couple of months. I've never had anything like this before.

Looking for advice
Hi everyone, This is my first post so I'll explain my situation to start with. I've been a heavy drinker for around 20 years. (Bottle of wine almost every night, bar two periods of complete abstinence during pregnancy) Around six months ago I began to notice an itchy/tingling feeling in my skin so I
