Scratching throat, is this asthma or in my head, no allergies no reflux
I have started taking ranitadine incase it's acid reflux causing the cough as well
antihistamines
in case it's hayfever. I don't have a blocked or runny nose so I'm not convinced it's nasal drip. I've never had a wheeze and peak flow drops by 100 when I'm feeling my worst.

Should I get an allergy test ?
Hello... I'm new to this forum and joined to ask about an allergy I have. Whenever I eat walnuts (I've narrowed it down to these with a bit of detective work ) my throat tightens up and I get red rashes and feel rubbish for the rest of the day, it's not so bad if I quickly take an antihistamine. My

First post here! Looking for a bit of advice
The respiratory specialist referred me to an allergist who has been trying to treat allergic rhinitis with
antihistamines
and nasal corticosteroids. It turns out I can't really take either of these.

Increased thyroxine dose causing itchy red, rash on throat and jaw??,
I genuinely thought it was heat rash due to the warmer weather, so gave her
antihistamines
which did nothing. She has been using aloe vera soothing gel and cool flannel on the area but it's very angry and aswell as itchy and burning. I feel awful for her and being Saturday I can not see our GP.

Sjogrens/Allergies
I'm allergic to certain
antihistamines
and many drugs and forget the flowers and grasses! I've had a tooth pulled about 2 months ago and have had this annoying sore in my mouth for 2 months! Do I need it biopsies?

Fibro rash
Got
antihistamines
from doc which stops it (and me) going completely crazy and also apply anti itch creams (Eurax) which work a little but it is so exhausting and makes me so miserable I am very open to more ideas and tried and tested remedies of any kind. Thanks AHA

PLC on to a new theory AGAIN ha!
Even
antihistamines
don't work that well- maybe takes the edge off the itching I do have times where I have bad acid indigestion and take lansoprazole occasionally.

Advice for a friend
My friend has allergy asthma (pollen, dust to name a few) she has inhalers from the doctor but she's given up hope with him, she's had it for years, she is in her 60's and generally manages things herself by trying to avoid triggers and taking antihistamine. What advice would you give her? I do wonder

Hay Fever on herceptin
Some reassurance for anyone suffering - my consultant casually dropped into conversation that being on herceptin can make hay fever symptoms worse 🙄 I've always suffered and take high dose antihistamine every day but still getting itchy eyes/runny nose, the whole thing. But now I know why...

Itching? What itching?
Some people found different
antihistamines
helpful and in particular someone said that they had found relief with Loratidine. I went to see my Lloyds the chemist pharmacist for advice with a list of the other drugs I take.

Inhalers!
There is a history of asthma n my family and like my mother I started suffering around the age of 50. I have a nasal drip and excessive mucus. I'm allergic to cats and pollen to some extent. After a long bout of chest pain although spit as clear and not infected my doctor has put me back on Ventolin,

That elusive final run... Done!
Dosed up with paracetamol & antihistamine, I set out for my w9r3 session, the last run of the couch to 5k programme, my first run for 9 days & my first outdoor run for exactly 2 weeks. My God it was hard. I had gremlins hanging off every limb, really in the first 5 minutes when I'm sure I was doing some

MRI issues
I've tried
antihistamines
but it's doesn't do much. Has anyone else had a similar experience with with MRI or b12. It's like I've been out in the sun far too long but even on parts of my body that have not been exposed to sunlight.

THE USE OF VITAMIN C in ADRENAL FATIGUE/ASTHMA.
Can someone advise on Vitamin C in high doses for adrenal fatigue, and for use to open up the airways, with asthmatic conditions? Does the vitamin work as an antihistamine, affecting capillary dilation?
