Side effect of a Rash with Xtandi and Apalutamide?
Has anyone gotten a rash from either of these drugs? Has anyone taken an Antihistamine for the rash so they could continue with their medication? Has anyone been successful in lowering their dose? Thank you

Severe Itching
I've tried
antihistamines
and E45 itch cream but to no avail. I've put cold compress on my arms which seems to suppress it but comes back once removed. It's not there all the time. Anybody experienced anything similar and how to treat it?

Non Allergic Rhinitis when taking Bisoprolol
I would really like to hear from other members if they have suffered with the above whilst taking Bisoprolol. I’ve now been taking 1.25mg daily coming up to one year on the 1st March. Over the last week or so I’ve been experiencing extremely sensitive eyes, stuffy/runny nose starting from mid morning

Saw GP on Monday who prescribed strong
antihistamines
and told me to speak with my consultant. I finally got through to the nurse yesterday and was given 2 choices. Stop taking it all together or just go down to 200mg. What do I do? It hasn't helped my symptoms at all.

Thrombocytosis…..ET? UPDATE
Hi everyone, so it’s been over a year since my last post and in that time my high platelets saga is still ongoing…. I have been quiet on here as I’ve struggled terribly with stress and anxiety about it all and found that distraction by not talking about it was my best way of coping….until now…. So here

Chest infection confusion
Also on a lot of
antihistamines
, Montelukast, Spiriva Respimat, Relvar Ellipta, Ventolin (inhalers, nebuliser), Carbocisteine. Finally, I am on replacement 5mg Prednisolone (for adrenal insufficiency) rather than therapeutic doses, was on 10mg for a while with higher doses for longer before that.

My wife has potential pneumonia.
Hey everyone. My first post and I've been reading the threads. A brilliant place you have here. My better half came down with what the doctors believe was a very bad (in their words) chest/viral infection. Coughing a lot. Could not get warm at points. Feeling sick at points. Coughing up green phlegm

Pain above molar teeth that runs across jaw and left side of head.
I have tried sinus flushes, prescribed nasal sprays and
antihistamines
but nothing seems to work. I am also not bunged up or suffering any congestion issues with my nose etc. The pain I feel is as if something is pulling at the root/nerves of my upper teeth.

Problems with generic Plaquenil
Hi everyone, I’ve been taking Plaquenil for 14 years . Two years ago I was on Plaquenil generic by the manufacturer Prasco Labs. They stopped making the hydroxychloroquine . So in my search for another generic I found that some of them caused itching but no rash. I finally found one made by the manufacturer

Only temporary respite from IV iron?
Back again - thought I was done with RLS after my iron infusion but seems like the respite was only temporary. Presently having symptoms from dawn until dusk, though some days are worse than others. Iron IV was 6 weeks ago; have just had bloods drawn for an iron panel so will see my neurologist when

Sleep Aid 2
Asked my PCP and Cardiologist for sleep aid recommendations and got these responses: PCP: "I would stick to things like melatonin and
antihistamines
to avoid complications with your arrythmia as most others are going to be sedatives which can adversely affect those."

I’ve had chronic insomnia for weeks: I fall asleep fairly easily but wake up at around 3:00 AM. I tried the usual remedies, deep breathing, not staring at the clock, not eating too late, etc My GP prescribed a sleeping tablet to break the cycle, but so still woke up in the mid of the night, so after

It is saying about high histamine and wondering if anyone has taken
antihistamines
. I have problems with all meds so reluctant to try but if anyone has taken them and got relief I would then give it a go, thanks

Niraparib - arm/shoulder aches
Hi 🙂 My mum has been on Niraparib for 6 months. She has had very few side effects except a bad back that lasted a few weeks. Over the last month or two she has been experiencing an achey shoulder which seems to ease with stretching. She’s not sure if it’s the muscle or the joint as sometimes her wrist

Spirometry results good
Doctors have given me highest dose
antihistamines
, upped inhalers over the years, given steroids and nothing has helped. The Spirometry results were as follows: FEV1 - 3.43 - 99% FVC - 4.11 - 99% RATIO - 83% PEAK FLOW -9.31 - 129% From these results being good? I think?

SSRIs and interaction with other medications
Hello OCD community! I’ve been handling my OCD symptoms and episodes pretty well for the last year. However, I got the flu two days before Christmas and I was very sick three days in a row. I was prescribed a cough syrup which later on I read online it was an antihistamine. I started taking the syrup
