Suddenly Hyperthyroid again
For a month and a half they kept saying I just had anxiety and threw
antidepressants
at me (which I only took 2 days of). Only until I rapidly lost weight did they take me serious. They just put me on 100mcgs but I feel slightly cold now. I'm just 1 week into that.

I’ve tried many types of
antidepressants
over the years and I’m coming to terms with the fact that I will always have highs and really low low’s. Currently I’ve been on lamotrigine and with starting the trazadone two weeks ago I’m experiencing extreme nausea and migraines.

Reading Sci-Fi as an antidepressant & anti-anxiety tool (i.e. The Stormlight Archives)
Does anyone on here do this, as well? Would love to discuss favorite authors and/or books. I’ve been a book lover for almost 60 years. It has always been my favorite activity (besides interacting with my kids). About ten years ago, I found an e library and haven’t been to a ‘real’ one or read a ‘real

Zoloft causing heart rhythm issues
Has anyone ever had Zoloft cause afib? I read online that there have been some people that have experienced afib with Zoloft. I can’t find if it goes away or requires coming off the drug. I know starting a new antidepressant can cause heart palpitations in some. I just wondered how I need to prepare

I am tired of feeling exhausted due to anxiety and I feel like I do not fit in anywhere
So I started taking
antidepressants
and in the beginning I felt much better and I even stopped feeling like a piece of garbage and having negative thoughts. But then I had to change my medicine because of side effects and my anxiety kinda got back and now I don’t really feel well again.

My life
I’ve been thinking about trying
antidepressants
from my doctor because it’s starting to get too much and I don’t know how I’m supposed to live like this. I start university soon and the stresses of that have impacted me really badly.

Another direction?
I've tried 2
antidepressants
in the past with horrendous side effects, I'm not willing to try another! But since blood tests and a brain scan have come back ok, what other route can I take??

How best do I help my son?
Hello, I'm new here. Eight months ago our 30 year old son who has Aspergers came off his antidepressant (tapered too quickly by his psychiatrist). He lives with my husband (his dad) and me. At first he was doing OK, but a couple weeks after being completely off the med he started having intrusive thoughts

Does it actually get better? I constantly need reassurance.
I hate it, I want to cry about it but these damn
antidepressants
prevent me from feeling sad. Plus they also prescribed me anxiety meds and Im to anxious to take those with my Prozacs. Prozacs and Buspar??? Idk I’m just scared that I’ll go insane and start hurting myself or others.

Tinnitus sufferer
I have tried
antidepressants
and anti anxiety pills, but neither gets to the core of the issue. I don’t seem to be habituating.

Abilify and weight gain
I am on an antidepressant for my depression, and then added Abilify last year which has helped with the extremes I feel in anger and frustration, and also the depths of despair. I like the effects of Ability as a mood stabilizer, but I started gaining unwanted weight. Anyone have a suggestion for

Viibryd and Dopamine
I had been trying to switch to Viibryd from Effexor. I had made it about 3 weeks when everything went down in flames. Anxious beyond measure and fast heart rate. Just a 24/7 anxiety show. My doctor said she has had patients do well for a few weeks then it stops working if it’s not a good fit. She said

AMPA Receptor Excitotoxicity and neurodegeneration.
Recently NMDA receptor agonists have been discussed as a means of reducing excitoxicity. I just learned of AMPA receptor Excitotoxicity. Below are quotes from a paper I will link. Excitotoxicity is one of the primary mechanisms of cell death in a variety of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous
