Positive end-to-end experience with antidepressants - anyone?
Never took
AntiDepressants
and scared. Tried Zoloft a couple of weeks ago and had nasty side effects, so didn't make it past the first dosage. Anyway, my question is: is there anyone who took AD for several months, felt better, withdrew and lived more or less happily ever after?

I just turned 60. Been on ssd for the past four years for major depression disorder and gad. Sometimes I feel okay then I crash and spend and spend 4or5 days in bed. I I don’t answer my phone, brush my teeth or take a shower. My friends don’t understand so they feel that they will just leave me alone

Coincidence
Does anyone know if it is normal to be extremely moody and fatigued after missing only one dose of an antidepressant? I feel like this happens every single time I miss one dose but I also feel like every single time it’s been an extra hard few days. I don’t know if this is coincidental or if I’m that

Anyone have experience on how psilocybin may effect RLS
I'm looking to give psilocybin a try for my treatment resistant depression. My big concern is that it regulates seretonin. I've always had a bad reaction to any drug which uses seretonin as it's mechanism of action. Makes my legs go crazy. So I suspect this may as well. The evidence on psilocybin is

New to antidepressants (sertraline) - take it or leave it
I have never taken any
antidepressants
so I have taken my first dose today but then I have started to read about them. It looks like when people are starting to take them, they are on them for several years!

Brain zaps
Apparently it can happen when you’re withdrawing from
antidepressants
but I’ve never taken them. All I am taking is low dose prednisolone and thyroxine. It says it’s not serious but I’m just curious as to why it happens. I don’t think it’s a side effect of pred but not sure.

I did it, i made the first step towards i hopeful future after waiting too long.
Well today i woke up at 8 (despite not sleeping til 4am) phoned the doctors and talked, went in to have a face to face, and i'm on more
antidepressants
. it's good cause i've actively taking steps to work on my health, for the better for once.

I am so depressed my GP has given me
antidepressants
. She also referred me to a healthy eating group as I'm depressed about my weight. I lost two stone last year and gained it back over lockdown. Finding it impossible to shift now.

B12 question - I am undiagnosed with anything
By July I'd submitted to
antidepressants
. I'm just not sure that's enough. It's been over 6mths. My anxiety isn't as bad, insomnia on and off, depression same and the
antidepressants
make me eat so I've put the 2st back on.

Antifungal and antidepressant drugs may help protect against COVID-19.
New research published in the British Journal of Pharmacology indicates that two currently available medications--an antifungal drug and an antidepressant--can effectively inhibit the virus that causes COVID-19 in laboratory cells. Investigators found that the antifungal itraconazole and the antidepressant

Starting my day on my day off is very difficult.
Does anyone have this issue with sleeping and taking so much
antidepressants
that the next day is very difficult to get going?

But, I keep reading that
antidepressants
can help with pain. I'm trying many things for pain that now aren't working well enough but pain isn't my only problem.
