Hi all

I hope everyone is enjoying the sun shine.

Any way so I was looking through my journal and the meds I take.

I’m on duloxetien which is amazing for pain and mood.

Any way I typed in mcas and duloxetien and guess what ?

Yup duloxetien is absolutely pumped full of histamines.

So the good news is that if I come of them then my mcas symptoms should be dramatically reduced.

The bad news is that I’ve pretty much gone through most of the antidepressant and the antidepressant I can’t take will have an effect on my heart.

So tonight I’m going to reduce my antidepressant by 30mg and see how I fair for a week.

On another not I get better sleep now which also reduces my pain.

I’ve also just started taking melatonin which wow when you look down the extensive list of what it helps with is amazing.

It can help with my ulcerative colitis as in inflammatory problems all over the body.

It does suppress histamine also it may possibly help with my tinnitus.the reason I take melatonin is actually to help me get back in to a sleep pattern.

So if any of you have read any of my other posts you can see that my life is up one minute down the next.because of my adhd I actually can go up higher than the average person and then fall down deeper than most ppl.

Then add mcas to the equation then I’m just totally baffled lol
