Gene testing for antidepressants
Today the doctor and I discussed gene testing for
antidepressants
waiting for my results. Hopeful that may give some insight on meds that may work well for me.

Don't blame yourself! Keep fighting the stigma.
Nearly half of us already know that we don't respond to
antidepressants
that target serotonin. Your depression is not a character flaw! Your depression is not a moral failing. Your depression is very real and for many of us has failed all available treatments.

Overwhelmed & struggling
So here I am, desperately needing
antidepressants
to stay above water but not being able to tolerate them. Tried other MD recommended things but they all failed. My therapist is nonplussed at this point. I live alone on SSDI so money is always an issue.

6 years of Tinnitus and now it's changed.
I've had Tinnitus for 6 years,it started as a side effect of taking the antidepressant Sertraline, I had got used to it and sometimes even forgot I had it, but 9 weeks ago I suddenly got a really loud ringing in my left ear and also pain,I've seen my Doctor 4 times and been told I had neuralgia, then

Legal action against all this medical negligence... How to go about it?
Has anyone ever tried to take legal action against medical negligence?? I was never mentioned the possibility that my ovarian cyst and fibroid might have been endometriosis. Was never diagnosed with it despite my many years of suffering with PMS and heavy bleeding etc. I was totally against surgery

How should I ask for my pain medication back?
This was due to a number of reason and being abruptly stopped with no
antidepressants
for over 2 months and very stressful family issues. My mood at the moment is quiet erratic and changes very intensely but I am starting my old
antidepressants
again.

Not Sure
The worse of all is that I feel like my brain has been altered from many years of different
antidepressants
(1998 to date @ 60 years). Even my Doctor says he doesn't know what to give me again. But the most disturbing situation is that it looks as if my brain is altered.

The vicious cycle of anxiety/depression and IBS - anyone else suffer?
The one thing I haven’t tried is
antidepressants
as I’m so, so scared they will mess with my digestive system even more, I’ve read they can cause diarrhoea and nausea which I really do not need more of! Does anyone else get this?

Depression and purpose
On another note, I ran out of one of my add on
antidepressants
and I think that’s not helping much. My therapist gives me the samples of the add on anti depressants cause they’re so expensive. As I write this post I am so sad I feel like crying.

Sertraline
it is some kind of antidepressant, which I think maybe is little bit old but still common used , actually there are some new modern medicines instead of that one which works in other ways, can be better maybe also depending at the person, little bit individually I 🤔
