Gene testing for antidepressants

Today the doctor and I discussed gene testing for antidepressants waiting for my results. Hopeful that may give some insight on meds that may work well for me.

I’ve heard of that. Not quite sure I believe it but if it helps narrow down the choices that is good.

Yeah I’m kinda skeptical but supposedly my insurance will cover it so will see

Good for you Adam, my test was from Genesight and really helped me eliminate a lot of the guess work. I had tried over a half dozen meds and none of them worked for my depression. I started on one the test recommended for me and it has worked well. It also showed that none of the meds I had tried before were right for me. Mine was also covered by insurance.
