Finally getting somewhere... hopefully
So I haven't posted in 4 months as I was waiting until I had something more to report. I had my 12 week lupus anticoagulant follow up test and this came back positive again with a note that if this is not caused by lupus then it needs following up. The luoys unit have signed me off so haven't looked

T-11 fracture! No wonder it hurts!
Yesterday, my husband drove me three hours roundtrip to see new rheumatologist (useless) and my pain specialist of several years (always helpful). Later ordered x-rays and gave me prescribed for opiates that have no NSAIDs or Tylenol. Also gave me shot of Toradol. This is an injectable NSAID that

Do blood thinners (Rivaroxaban etc) lower immune system?
With coronavirus so much in the news, it does pose the question of whether the immune system is effected by those on blood thinners? ( In my case Rivaroxaban). A strong immune system is necessary to fight viruses and pathogens. If so I reckon extra care should be taken. Best wishes to all.

Conflicting advice.
Each time the A and E Doctors have said I don’t need
Anticoagulants
as it doesn’t happen very often and doesn’t last a long time.

Anticoagulant cand e nevoie ?

Cinnamon and apixaban
I have recently been reading about cinnamon and ginger as a dangerous combination with
anticoagulants
. I'm on Apixaban and occasionally have cinnamon on toast instead of marmalade. Comments please or is it everything in moderation?

Consultant Appointment
I was recommended to have a cardiology appointment by the A&E Dr, so booked my Consultant. I decided to make it worth the cost to make a list of questions and email them together with my Kardia reports. Friday was a really good appointment, he had read what I’d sent go him and I got all his he information

How to make a long story short?
Hi 👋🏻 I’m Vicky. I’ve come over here from fertility network uk. I’m from Herefordshire in the midlands, England. I’m 40 in April. My LG is nearly 7 months old. We are at the baby led weaning stage. It’s going well. My Hubby is disabled (a T4 paraplegic). He will be 44 in March. He was our primary reason

Just wanted to see if anyone has been on
anticoagulants
