Feeling fed up, after feeling elated a few weeks ago. Thanks to Joanna Lane of the Christopher Lane Trust, my husband was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency, and is going to receive treatment. Then he was also due to start physio on Monday, so everything was looking up. Then his breathlessness

Brilique and breathlessness
When I had my stents fitted about 3 weeks ago they changed my blood thinner from clopidogrel to aspirin and Brilique and have been told I'll remain on both of these for a year. I have been so lucky in that even with my cocktail of tablets I have not suffered any side effects......until now. I am finding

Black Eye while on Coumadin?
I am wondering if anyone has ever had a black eye on coumadin. I have one right now and have been told that the blood thinner will make full healing fairly slow. Meanwhile I have bruisy patches all over my face which came on a day or two after the fall that caused the event. I have no pain, no fever

Good morning from Texas…in the attempt to give us a new topic (without searching to see if it has already been discussed ad nauseam)… I’m 3 months post ablation with no Afib…hooray…but I have a 30-40 bpm heart rate jump when I get up in the night to visit the bathroom. After I snuggle back in bed it

Bowel upset on Lansoprazole
I have been taking Lansoprazole along with Prednisolone as my doctor says I must as I am on
anticoagulants
(apixaban for afib). I have been on the drugs now since May this year but more recently been experiencing stomach/bowel problems. I am tapering and down to 5mg pred.

Mechanical valve
Has anyone had the vaccines that has APS, Lupus, and a mechanical heart valve and on blood thinners and prednisone? If so, did you have complications? Thank you!

When did you start baby aspirin or Eparin injections?
I am waiting to hear from the hospital about the blood tests for recurrent miscarriage, most are anticoagulant blood tests. I have to do frozen transfer in December, when do you usually start taking blood thinners medication before transfer? I am assuming I have to start very soon if needed?

Feeling a Bit Frightened and Anxious...

Pregnancy/delivery (in particular c sections) and blood thinners
Hi ladies, I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant and so far so good. I have APS and FVL so I'm on 2 dalteparin 5000 injections and a mini aspirin a day. I am looking to hear your experiences of childbirth on blood thinners, specifically women who have had c sections. Were epidurals or spinal taps a problem

Aspirin
When I was having my booster vaccine I mentioned to the GP (the head of the practice who is very well thought of) that I was not taking an anticoagulant. He said that I should do, but if I was not willing to I should take an aspirin every day. I thought that studies in Europe showed that this
